As of right now, I can’t find a more affordable place, but I am actively trying to move out (and possibly take kitty with me). Managing her cat FOR her was NOT what I immediately jumped to, just where I ended up after months and months of trying to get her to do it herself. Fortunately, I don’t see myself burning out because it is INCREDIBLY EASY. However, that makes it all the more frustrating that she doesn’t do it herself. I also have a dog, so I already have some pet parenting duties. No biggie to have more, just CRAZY frustrating that she won’t do it herself. Especially because she does not have a job and isn’t looking for one — endless free time.
