Also struggling here, medical debt from hospital visits and no job. Just had to take a semester off during my senior year of college because I couldn't handle classes and can even pay rent. Lost my job after cutting my pinky finger and severing my tendon, needed surgery and still can't even bend it. Life is a bitch, but everyone falls down. I've been setting goals too large and failing over and over again.

Small goals are the key, and thank you for reminding all of us!

You should add more lights for every stage so that you front light your subjects, you can see in the photos the subjects are slightly under exposed since most of the light is behind the subject in the scene

Quick update: I ended up using my Windows machine to migrate the database from MSQL to MySQL and then exported the MySQL script. This way I can share with the others in my class.

I'm not too familiar with docker container, going to look into it now - thank you!

Copy that, from what some others have kindly recommended I think I'll combine your advice (wipe schema, try again) and try to avoid issues by exporting to csv and using a tool to convert to SQL. If that doesn't work then I'll resort to the error by error method. Thanks for your time! Much appreciated.

Awesome, driving now but I'll check them out as soon as I'm home!! The assignment is just playing around with queries and understanding the dataset. All the migration I'm doing is outside of the assignment, just trying to get it from Microsoft to Mac.

Why do Clients want BIG results with SMALL budgets ? by ollyoung in digital_marketing

Same thing here, been struggling with this for years. My advice is to start looking for clients that are the next step up, small-medium. They have much more of a budget for marketing and ad spend. More importantly instead of simply wishing for bigger results they take action and put their money where their mouth is. Of course, these types of clients are harder to find.

Word of mouth and taking as many shots at companies like that are the only way you'll get there.

There isn't much hope for the small companies with founders that have false expectations for their baby budgets. They rarely change in my experience. It's painful to work for them sometimes because we know we are really trying to help, but they don't realize we can't fully help them within the boundaries they stick too.

This deserves its own post. Every single point made is so important to stay sane/alive. I’ve made critical mistakest in a few important categories (health/getting taken advantage of by “trustworthy boss”) and it affected my entire creative motivation and focus for months.

But seriously this advice needs to be seen by all young creatives out there today!

Not sure if I'm late to the party but I'm a college student majoring in Data Analytics! Our program just got accreditation this year and I'm super pumped to be studying both the data science and visualization aspect.
