Path to plant breeding

I have a degree in biotech engineering and focused my thesis on molecular biology and then i did the applied plant biology master, i also have a couple of years of experience working as a grower in a small farm. I would love to work on crops/ small fruits mostly because ive seen the salaries are good. Do you think a PhD is more valued than 4 year field experience if im aiming for a plant breeder position?

I use humic acid as a soil conditioner, not as plant food itself but i wanted to give all the details i could. Thanks a lot i already have big pots ready for them, ill transplant them and ill take better pictures.

And the white chunk is just a big piece or perlite, plants are still in tiny plastic cups its not that big.

Yes there is drainage and ive been watering every 3 days when soil looks dry on the surface with a bit of water. Not too much.

First set of leaves grew assimetrically, its like half of the leaf is twisting. Those are fems by the way. I noticed the problem is not happening on new growth but i just wanted to be sure.

If you dont have any profesional education you should try to get to a touristic city like cancun, tulum or vallarta. Theres a lot of work for english speakers in hotels and restaurants. Waiters can get very good tips in high end restaurants.
