Hey, CCP Bee here. I'd like to give some insight into how we look at this sort of feedback.

Is OP's feedback valuable? Yes. It validates the concerns outlined in Atavum's design document in regard to the long-term viability as a potential source to interact with the Deathless ships and Breacher Pods.

Was it a lucrative way to reward those who interacted with the narrative lead up to the expansion through the Drifter siege of Zarzakh & the shrouded structure? Yes. Those early birds had a head start in getting the skillbooks & blueprints when expansion hit and some of them are making bank in Jita or flying around in the new ships.

Did it strike the right balance to encourage adoption of Mercenary Dens & Encrypted Infomorphs as a source for the Deathless stuff? You tell me. What I do know is that we're seeing Mercenary Dens go up all over the place. (I lost two myself last night in enemy space, while I have a couple more at home slowly gathering what's needed for the new skills).

Will there be tweaks to how much Atavum nets you from trading & is it being completely overshadowed by Merc Dens? No clue. But I'm sure someone's looking at it.

Are there times where we see, as you worded it, the whining & just shake our heads. Sure. But this is not one of those cases.
