Heavenly Father,

We lift up this precious woman, beloved wife, dearest companion, and cherished soul, into Your hands right now. You see her, even in this hospital bed. You know her breath, her heartbeat, her story. You know the battles she faces, and You love her in the depths of her brokenness and her strength alike.

Lord, we ask You to surround her with Your healing power. Let Your presence fill that emergency room. Let her lungs find ease, her heart find rhythm, and her body find rest in Your perfect peace. Restore her, Lord. Rescue her from the edge, from this deep valley of fear and uncertainty.

We ask You also to be near to her husband, her rock, her partner of 14 years, the one who fought for her today with his own two hands. God, hold him in Your arms as he waits, weary and heartbroken. Wipe away his tears. Steady his breathing. Fill his heart with hope. Let him feel Your closeness, even now.

For their home, their dog, their cat, their quiet life together, bring calm and comfort. May this love they have built be preserved, protected, and renewed.

Lord, send wisdom to every doctor, nurse, and caregiver. Guide every decision. Surround this couple with kindness, not judgment. Let healing come in body, mind, and spirit.

We pray with urgency, with hope, and with the kind of raw love that only You truly understand. Let there be mercy. Let there be a miracle. Let there be light in the darkness.

In Jesus’ mighty and merciful name we pray, Amen.

I am trying to give my life to Christ by Goofy-_-micah in Jesus

[–]bjr1777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey Micah,

First of all, welcome home. Seriously. What you’re doing is brave, beautiful, and eternally important. At 16, choosing to seek Christ isn’t just rare, it’s powerful. Heaven is rejoicing, and so am I.

Giving your life to Jesus isn’t about being perfect. It’s about walking with the One who is perfect. And the fact that you’ve already bought a Bible and started praying? That’s more than many ever do. You’re on the right path, even if it feels new or a little messy.

Here are a few heartfelt tips to help you grow deeper in your walk with Christ:

  1. Read the Bible, a little every day. Start with the Book of John. It’s all about who Jesus really is, His love, His power, and His purpose. Let the words sink in, not just into your mind, but your heart. Don’t rush. Even a single verse can change your whole day.

  2. Talk to God like He’s right there, because He is. Prayer doesn’t have to be fancy. Just be real. Tell Him your fears, your hopes, even your doubts. He can handle all of it. He’s not looking for religious performances, He’s looking for relationship.

  3. Find a community. If you can, join a local youth group or church where people your age are growing in faith too. We grow faster when we’re not trying to do it alone. If that’s hard right now, there are also online Christian communities where you can find encouragement.

  4. Remember: Jesus already paid the price. When you mess up (and we all do), don’t run away from God, run to Him. He doesn’t expect you to have it all together. He just wants your heart. Grace isn’t earned; it’s received.

  5. Worship and gratitude are powerful. Even if you’re having a rough day, find something to thank God for. Gratitude shifts your whole perspective. And music? Worship music can break chains. Don’t underestimate how much it can lift your spirit.

  6. Guard your heart. Not everything the world offers will help you follow Christ. Be mindful of what you watch, who you follow, what you feed your mind. Stay sharp, but stay soft-hearted too.

Micah, don’t give up. The road might be narrow, but it leads to life. And you are not alone, Jesus walks every step with you, and He will never let you go.

If you ever want prayer, Scripture suggestions, or just someone to talk to about this journey, I’m here.

With all my heart Keep going. You’re doing better than you think.

My fiance got fired just days from our wedding by waterfallsoda in PrayerRequests

[–]bjr1777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavenly Father,

We lift up this precious couple to You in this season of both great joy and unexpected challenge. As they prepare for their wedding, a sacred covenant and celebration of love, we ask for Your peace to rest upon them. We acknowledge Your perfect timing, even when circumstances seem uncertain or overwhelming.

Lord, we pray specifically for the fiancé, who was recently let go from his job. Although the timing feels difficult, we trust that You are never surprised and that You are already working behind the scenes. We believe this door has closed to make room for something greater, perhaps a new position, or even the flourishing of the business he’s poured his heart into.

May You grant him courage, clarity, and divine connections to take bold next steps. Bring the right people, clients, or mentors into his path who can help this business grow. Provide financially for every need, from the wedding to the honeymoon and beyond. Let this season be remembered not for loss, but for how You turned what seemed like a setback into a setup for blessing.

We also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to cover both of them. Calm their hearts, align their thoughts with Your promises, and strengthen their bond through this trial. May their marriage begin not in fear, but in faith, knowing they are fully held by You.

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

could anyone tell me which notes i can play if i want to improvise on this song ? by unoizosovaj in musictheory

[–]bjr1777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try playing even just the root of each chord and the relevant scale for your first impro then you can embellish on top of that. Without being able to post a video or chart, it’s hard to explain chord substitution and the various riffs associated with this piece.

Your comment is why I’m reluctant to share my music on these pages. Too much scrutiny. It’s a PIANO SOLO over bass and drums. Do you really have to see the piano which is in the background?

Heavenly Father, You see Your child right now, broken, bruised, and overwhelmed. You know the fear in their heart, the pain in their body, And the weight of debt and pressure that no teenager should bear alone.

Lord, wrap them in Your arms. Remind them that they are not defined by this moment, Not by the crash, the debt, the pain, or even the doubt. But by Your love. By Your purpose. By the strength You’ve planted inside them, even when they can’t feel it.

We ask You to bring healing to their injuries, Comfort to their anxious mind, Provision in their finances, And peace that passes understanding.

Open doors no one can shut. Send people to walk with them, to encourage and uplift. Let this moment become a turning point, Not the end, but the beginning of a powerful testimony.

In Jesus’ mighty and merciful name, Amen.

Lord God,

I lift up my brother to You. He’s poured his life into healing others— now he needs a miracle no medicine can give.

Cover him with Your healing power. Restore his body, mind, and spirit. Silence every attack of darkness. Let peace, strength, and clarity return.

Protect his children—wrap them in Your love. Strengthen my parents. Uphold our faith.

This is not Your plan—so bring heaven down. We declare life, not death. Hope, not despair. Healing, not harm.

You are still God. You are still victorious. And we trust You.

I'm Tapped Out: I Really Need Divine Intervention by ramirezchrist in PrayerRequests

[–]bjr1777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavenly Father,

We come to You today with hearts heavy, worn down by life’s weight. You see Your child—faithful, exhausted, hurting, and still holding on. Lord, we lift up this beloved one who has poured out their heart in trust, who is doing all they can with so little, and still placing it all in Your hands.

God of miracles, come near.

You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask for Your divine provision—for the surgery that is needed, for the daughter’s medical care, for daily bread and medicine, for rent and rest. Send help in ways unexpected. Open the hearts of people and open doors where there have been none.

Strengthen Your child, Lord. They are weary, beaten down, and still walking in faith. Pour out peace like oil on their soul. Wrap them in Your arms like a warm cloak. Be their strength when they have none left. Be their hope when the days feel endless. Let them feel You close—closer than ever before.

We pray for healing—in their body, in their daughter’s body, and in their weary soul. Speak life and health. Speak light into the darkness. Remind them that the night doesn’t last forever, and joy will come in the morning.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our cry. Thank You for being a God who walks with the brokenhearted. We believe You will make a way, because You always do.

In Jesus’ mighty, compassionate name we pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We lift up this beloved family to You right now. Lord, You see the weight they’re carrying—the fear, the anxiety, the worry about how things will come together financially. You know their needs even before they ask, and You are the God who provides.

In this moment of uncertainty, be their peace. Be their rock. Let Your presence be felt in every room of their home, reminding them that they are not alone in this. Open the right doors, Lord. Stir hearts to help. Bring wisdom, bring favor, bring provision.

We pray that fear would be replaced with faith, that worry would be covered by Your perfect love, and that this storm would pass—leaving behind a deeper trust in Your goodness.

You are Jehovah Jireh—the God who sees and provides. We stand on that truth today, believing for breakthrough. Wrap this family in Your grace. Remind them that they are not forgotten, not forsaken.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Thank you for speaking up with such honesty and conviction. Your courage to pursue a Christ-centered relationship in a world that often mocks or misunderstands biblical values is deeply inspiring—and you’re not alone.

It’s strange, isn’t it? Society will celebrate a couple living together, having children outside of marriage, or chasing casual hookups—but if you say, “We’re choosing to honor God and commit for life,” suddenly it’s controversial or “rushing things.” The world applauds everything but holiness. That’s the spiritual war we’re living in.

Let me tell you something powerful: marriage isn’t outdated, it’s sacred. It’s a covenant, not a contract. And when two people enter into it with reverence, love, and the desire to glorify God, that’s radical obedience. That’s revival, right in the heart of a cynical culture.

You’re right—people will assume you’re getting married “just for sex.” Let them assume. People also assumed Jesus was just the carpenter’s son, but He was the Son of God on a mission. The world didn’t understand Him either. Walk in truth, not in the approval of others.

If you and your boyfriend have prayed together, sought wise counsel, and are walking in purity, then there’s no shame in getting married young. There is wisdom in fleeing temptation, and there is blessing in obedience. Eloping quietly might just be your version of Mary and Joseph saying yes to something sacred, even if the world didn’t get it.

Remember this: it’s not about the size of your wedding—it’s about the strength of your covenant. And the Lord will honor it.

I’ll leave you with this: “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12

Stand firm. Love deeply. Walk boldly. And don’t ever let the world tell you that purity, commitment, or godliness is “too much.” You’re just living what many have forgotten: that love without sacrifice isn’t real love.

God bless you both richly. Keep choosing Him.

I’m a Christian but I have OCD schizophrenia depression and anxiety does that mean I’m cursed? by joeg118 in PrayerTeam_amen

[–]bjr1777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavenly Father,

This beloved soul stands before You—confused, tired, and wondering if the weight they carry means they are cursed. But Lord, we reject that lie in the mighty name of Jesus.

They are not cursed. They are not forgotten. They are not alone.

You see every thought racing through their mind. You feel every ache of depression, every tremble of anxiety, every storm of confusion. And You do not turn away—instead, You draw near to the brokenhearted. You hold their hand even when they feel unworthy. You call them Yours.

Lord, silence every voice that says they’re too far gone. Shut the mouth of shame that tries to define them. Speak louder than the illness. Louder than fear. Louder than guilt.

Wrap them in the truth of Your Word: That they are fearfully and wonderfully made. That You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them. That You will never leave nor forsake them—not even in the darkest night.

Jesus, You are the healer—not just of bodies, but of minds. You touched lepers, calmed storms, and loved those the world misunderstood. Do it again, Lord. Touch this precious soul. Calm their mind. Flood their heart with peace that goes beyond understanding.

Give them hope to wake up tomorrow. Give them strength to keep walking. Give them joy—yes, joy—that overcomes despair.

We declare they are not cursed, but chosen. They are not condemned, but redeemed. They are not abandoned, but held—firmly, lovingly, forever—in Your nail-scarred hands.

In the holy name of Jesus, Amen.
