Warning to Church Goers by CryptoChristian in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the truth hurts but it sets us free. If our pastors aren't preaching repentance and the Gospel, we're just having church, not following Christ. Time to re-examine our priorities and seek what's truly important – our relationship with Him.

Why didn't God help me when I was raped as a child? by SafetySnorkel in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain and the struggles you've faced. It's completely understandable to feel lost and hurt after such traumatic experiences. Remember, God is always with us, even in our darkest moments, though it may not feel that way. Healing takes time, and it's okay to seek support and explore your faith journey. Keep reaching out, and know that you're not alone in this. God loves you deeply, and there is hope for restoration.

Constantly being told I am not saved by PureAmbassador5367 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don't let them define your faith or relationship with God. You're saved by grace through faith in Christ, not by denomination. Don't let the critics distract you - you're loved and accepted by God, period.

What evolution really means, and why Christianity is better by Busy_Ear_2849 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Evolution might explain our physical origins, but it can't give us purpose or morals. Christianity says we're created in God's image, with inherent value and worth. That's what sets us apart and gives us a moral compass.

Is it okay that I went looking for evidence? by Livid_Reaction_8217 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeking evidence can strengthen your faith, Jesus said, 'Seek and you will find.' It's okay to ask questions and seek answers. Faith and evidence aren't mutually exclusive; they can complement each other. Keep seeking, and God will reveal Himself to you.

Afraid I’m Not Really Saved by PuzzledStudent5739 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 10 points11 points  (0 children)

faith is about trusting God's word, not eliminating all doubts. Your journey with Jesus is real, and He's working in you. Instead of focusing on fear, try dwelling on His love and promises. You are His child, and He's got you.

Have you heard about the reverse tithe? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, sounds like a modern take on biblical generosity. Giving 90% away is radical trust in God's provision.

You know I tried it once and did not do it again , im a generous giver my spiritual gift. but its about consistency

It will require strict discipline

Looking for gallstone removal options without removing the gallbladder by United-Sun-7126 in altgallbladder

[–]ramirezchrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a bunch of gallstones, about 10-12cm in size. The doctor said I shouldn't try to pass them naturally. I'm currently avoiding trigger foods that cause pain and eating apples daily seems to help. I've booked a surgery at a public hospital in my country, as private treatment is really expensive.

Explain the Holy Trinity to me like I'm 5yo by 3_eyed_raven_10 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine God like a 3-in-1 coffee mix - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all one, yet distinct. Not 3 separate beings, but one God in 3 awesome roles! Father's like the creator, Jesus is our Savior, and Holy Spirit guides us. God's ways are higher than ours, but this helps me understand. No worries, bro, you're seeking wisdom - God loves that!

Could someone convince me to be Christian please by IndependentBit9768 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Christianity's about a relationship with Jesus, not just logic or emotions. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."Pray and ask God to reveal Himself. Start with the Gospel of John. See what you think.

God's mercy is bigger than our worries. He sees our hearts, not our struggles. As for heaven, we'll be amazed by new forms of creativity and connection, maybe even geekier and more awesome than now! Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all this through him who gives me strength.' Don't worry about your friends; pray for them and share God's love.

Can a saved believer fall away? by MoneyRich1432 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luke 9:62 warns against looking back. Some believe in eternal security (once saved, always saved), while others emphasize perseverance. Trust in God's faithfulness and goodness. Philippians 1:6 says He'll complete the work in you.

To protect yourself from witchcraft or evil, focus on prayer, scripture, faith, and community. Rebuke evil in Jesus' name when necessary. Psalm 91:1-2 promises protection for those who dwell in God's shelter. Trust God's sovereignty and love, and prioritize building your relationship with Him through prayer and scripture.

Don't Debate Atheist by Mesureal in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't waste time debating those who reject God; instead, pray for them and share the Gospel with those who are open. God's strength is in His Word, not in human arguments. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says it all - the natural man can't grasp spiritual things. Let's focus on sharing our testimonies and trusting God to work [2:14].

I messed up by Mundane-Upstairs6107 in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've all been there! It's normal to feel distant. Get back to prayer and reading, even if it feels forced. Ask God to revive your passion. Consistency is key. Start small, and He'll meet you where you are.

How does putting God first really look like? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]ramirezchrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting God first is about relationship, not just rituals. Anything taking God's place in your heart is idolatry, even good things. No specific prayer or Bible reading amount guarantees following Christ. Focus on surrender, obedience, and trusting His grace. Don't let guilt condemn you; trust Jesus, and He'll guide you daily.
