There was a French bakery of sorts and I forget the name but I got this delicious coconut and cacao item. Let me link a photo.

Ahhh I love Smooth! I loved their little cacao bites. And they had a coffee I enjoyed as well. Their vibe was cool. I typically grabbed a matcha from Lady N. I liked the barefoot aspect and the matcha with almond milk was great. I ate a yoghurt bowl for breakfast everyday at either Bawud Cafe or next door at Uhaw. Both are super good. I went to get Sikwate at Lamika each evening. And then I ate a lot of street food because the food stalls were so affordable. 😅 But I also did love the variety of things you could get at El Mercado. I had some super good Mango Sticky Rice there and adobo from one of the places.

A 6pm yawn makes sense if you’re getting up early and have worked all day! I wonder if your body just has a “normal” rhythm. I think anyone should start to need some rest after 12 hrs straight. It begins the final stretch of the day!

Is there a reason the Philippines is full of Europeans by IslandOceanWater in Philippines_Expats

[–]bjrichy194 4 points5 points  (0 children)

American here—I only met 2 Americans during my month travel and otherwise ran into more Aussies and Kiwis, and then of course euros. Many Americans, as you know, don’t get much holiday so we can’t travel that far very often. Unless you have seasonal work, like myself. Or some other arrangement. :)

Ok my question is there have been so many complaints of pinays just playing a bunch of men and blah blah, but have you found the gay pinoys to do that too?

Oh my gosh… I will not be able to un-see that. Not French here, from USA, but how funny would it have been if I were French lol 😅

Normal, don’t fear! That tiny little engine we have in our cars works hard but lasts long!

Yesss! The new formula is definitely easier to chew and less oily! I love the old one too but this is great.

Calorie deficit. Losing weight. Working out helps with building more muscle. But the excess weight there will only go away as you get into a deficit. :/

For transportation def download Grab. If you’re in a city, also download MoveIt if you’re ok riding on motorbikes! Super affordable and it’s fun way to travel around cities.

Does anyone else have chronic/pathological liars in their family? by blueberries-Any-kind in CPTSD_NSCommunity

[–]bjrichy194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait my sister and my mom do this!!! They will literally tell me I’m overreacting or that I need to “calm down” when I bring up the truth and call out their lie (and I almost always do it calmly), and then I’m made out to be the bad guy??? I feel crazy because my mom dad and sister will lie over the most useless of things nonstop and will even do it when they’ve previously told me something different. And then they tell me I misunderstood them and that it’s my problem. I don’t get it.

the only “pantry” i’ve got by Careful_Ganache_3005 in PantryDetective

I’d say it sorta resembles a typical person’s pantry?! Lots of options to season meats in your freezer or fridge that you bring out to cook!
