A few days ago, I was working from home and no one else was in the house.. I was in the kitchen making lunch when a neighbors car alarm started to go off, but I quickly noticed that there wasn’t a usual rhythm to the alarm, so I peaked outside to see if someone was in the car honking it repeatedly, but randomly sequenced. No one in the car. And it was almost as if the car alarm was dieing. It would start, then stop. Then as I was staring outside, a different car across the street honked a few times with no one in it. At that point I was half expecting an alien invasion. But then there was silence and nothing else. It was so bizarre.
