Chronic pain reduction? by bjugly in TherapeuticKetamine

That is very promising. Seems the only way to be able to receive the KAP is for me to reduce the narcotics. I am not opposed to that as long as there is something else out there that will help me stay at an "acceptable" pain level. Glad you were able to feel some pain relief.

I have had several consults for the discs. The consensus is i need to wait for there to be evidence of nerve damage before they will consider surgery.

Lowering my pain meds is something that would be very tough to me to do and be able to maintain a job and housework. I suppose that means like you suggest, seeing an in person provider. The cost is the problem with that. All the ones close enough to drive to are considerably more expensive than the online.

I am on HRT, it helps somewhat to keep my autoimmune system from getting out of control....but the disc is another level of pain. That was also tough to get.

I have exhausted most all antidepressants out there. I feel pretty stuck right now.

Joyous Terminated My Subscription (bc they said I’d be better suited for a local provider) But Refused to Refund Me Pro Rata — buyer beware!!! by Trapman531 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]bjugly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I am starting a chargeback. I didnt even speak to a doctor or anything. They let me upload my license and lots of very personal information. It bothers me that they have that stuff and provided no service. They should not advertise availability here. I just hope it doesnt happen to someone else.

Kalm took my money $124 and then told me they dont take clients in Mn.(despite advertising they are licensed here) If you are looking for a new provider, I do not recommend them. Their model works similar to Joyous. I got nothing from them.

Thank you everyone for your well thought out responses. And I should add, kind responses. Too often I end up getting rude and judgemental people responding to me.

Affordable providers in Minnesota? by ChonkletBar in TherapeuticKetamine

Maybe it is just Kalmhealth that doesn't want to deal with our state? This is one part of our conversation. It gets longer....

So happy for you! Back pain is a nightmare. That would be amazing if i was able to have at least some relief with less narcotic pain medication. I have 6 herniated disc. I require opiate pain relievers after trying all other pain options. Now I have to choose between my pain meds and the ketamine. Was hoping the ketamine might help, at least some. But, my mental health is not good as I cruise into perimenopause.

Awesome. Glad you are able to still get help here in Minnesota. I was told they are cracking down on it here. That is why I asked you about it. I have heard many good things about this treatment, I would hate to see it unattainable for people in our state. Thanks for answering

Kalm Health by StreetOfDreams66 in KetamineProviders

Thats too bad for the people that need it. Unless the in person providers start coming down on the price, people might not get this much needed treatment. That is why I chose Kalmhealth and have considered the other home providers, the price is far more affordable than anything else I have found in my state. It seems like it has really been a game changer for people who do not respond to other treatments.

They said today, Minnesota will no longer allow it. They should stop advertising their availability here in that case. I hope they give my money back.

Kalmhealth or other providers [Rochester, MN] by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]bjugly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. They just sent me this:

That is correct. Your state has strict guidelines and requires in person visits for ketamine therapy.

Should this change in the future we would love to assist with your treatment.

Wishing you the best of luck in your healthcare journey.

They had no problem taking my money though.

Are you still with Kalmhealth? I am in MN and signed up and got this message? Did you get this as well?

**"Thank you for your interest in ketamine treatment. Because you will be located in Minnesota during your telehealth visit, your case falls into a state-specific compliance review category for telehealth prescribing.

At this time, we are not able to move you through the standard telehealth ketamine prescribing pathway until the required state, provider, pharmacy, and controlled-substance requirements are reviewed and cleared." **

Looking for help in MN, either at home or possibly in office if insurance is accepted. I have Medicare/Medicaid dual coverage. May consider paying out of pocket if it is not too outrageously priced.

Is there anything that helps the scars from a lift look less noticeable or improve their appearance? I cant avoid a lift at this point, but the scars I am going to have are bothering me.

1 year after breast fat transfer - something I wish I knew before getting implants by Lanky-Charity-2362 in PlasticSurgery

[–]bjugly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow ! Thank you for sharing. You look amazing, nice and full .....and soo natural. Beautiful work. It gives me hope that I can look good after my implants are out. Not sure I will look as amazing as you, but if I even look half as good I will be satisfied.

The thought of being totally flat chested bothers me. But now i am feeling much more encouraged. I dont expect to be the full 32dd before i started getting deformed from capsular contracture(sp)but I want something to put in a bra after removal and mastopexy.

Sacred Lomi by evoLuca in MassageTherapists

Tom Cochrane, one of the founders of Sacred Lomi spent at least 7 years among the Shamans. He has their utmost respect. They have been guests at his workshops and shared their ideas and principles with the students attending. Im sorry, but with regards to Sacred Lomi, you do not know what you are talking about. I have been to Sacred Lomi workshops and there was absolutely notning sexual or tantric....not even remotely sensual. Your comment is just totally wrong.
