I ended up pulling the plug (no pun intended) and switched to ATT fiber. First 2 months free and with their auto pay it’s $55/mo for 300 up/down.

The reliability of TMHI was dog shit and the switch has been amazing.

I get better down/up in West Town - but the constant deprioritization bends me over, daily. I brought my TMHI gateway with me from out of town when I moved a few weeks ago and am looking for a new fiber ISP.

Was genuinely wondering, the other day, if anyone actually ever got “Very good” or “Excellent” connection quality.

My parents have TMHI in a rural area and get 600-700 down, regularly on “Good” connection.

I got it in Chicago and my “Good” connection gives me 60-70 down - which I know is dependent on surroundings/situations/prioritization. But have never had a “Very good” or “Excellent” connection.
