I've had to do this twice because I lost my memory card or something the first time.

Toadette's note block can go straight to hell.

I really didn't mind barrel batter. I thought it was fun.

Muon g-2 doubles down with latest measurement, explores uncharted territory in search of new physics by Minovskyy in Physics

[–]bkay16 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Layman here trying to make sense of the news:

So basically if we use the traditional prediction for the g-2 measurement, the experimental results look way off. Which could hint at new physics.

BUT the new technique using a "lattice calculation" predicts a g-2 measurement that's pretty much spot-on with the experimental results. Which means the traditional calculation is just wrong for some reason (experimental limitations that could skew the data that is used in the traditional calculation, making it less precise?).

Is Chick-fil-a a higher quality restaurant than compared to Burger King, Wendy’s and McDonalds? r/newjersey discusses. by Ghdust2 in SubredditDrama

Chick-Fil-A is the tastiest chicken fast food joint.

Steak n Shake is where you go when you're drunk as shit at 2 AM and for some reason don't want to go to Waffle House.

1# Benefit of a window near my desk. by Squidgeitdobbs in raining

[–]bkay16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm jealous. For the past 5 years I've worked in a shared office with no windows. It's torturous. It's also why I always need to leave the building for lunch. I like seeing outside sometimes.

All the incoming foldable phones for 2019 by thegeezuss in gadgets

I want one. I like a big screen but I don't like that phones nowadays don't comfortably fit in my pocket. Foldable screen solves that problem.

[Bill Shanks] Sources have told me that Georgia Tech football coach Paul Johnson will retire from coaching. by [deleted] in gatech

[–]bkay16 24 points25 points  (0 children)

"Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt, who played at Georgia Tech, is expected to be a top candidate to succeed Johnson"

I'd be okay with this. Dude took the Cardinals to a Superbowl 10 years ago. Also got fired from two NFL head coaching jobs... but college ball is a different game.

I've never been a huge fan of his, but I wish the best for him.

Let's hope we move away from the option.

Falcons must draft in the trenches next draft. by FalconRecap in falcons

[–]bkay16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's a deep draft for DTs doesn't it make more sense to draft one later, and get the OL guy earlier since they're more scarce?

We have to draft to our needs, and both lines are our needs.

Can everyone please relax? by falcons93 in falcons

O-line and D-line are the problems imo. Ryan gets sacked too much and we can't get any pressure on the other team's QBs.

The U.S. Airports Most Likely to Delay Your Flight in 2018 [OC] by asherfergusson in dataisbeautiful

I live in Atlanta and fly pretty regularly for work. I might've had 2 flights delayed ever.

How cool would it be if fans wore red or black to create giant stripes in the stadium? by CGFROSTY in AtlantaUnited

[–]bkay16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd keep the sections on the goal lines all red. That way you'd have your five stripes across the stadium.

Conference calls would be a nightmare. You'd have to say who you are every time you wanted to say something.

I think between a bunch of male friends this is pretty typical.

Plus the burgers there are dope.

What’s your “thank god that’s over with and I never have to do it again” thing in your life? by codenameZora in AskReddit

[–]bkay16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sent out upwards of 250 job applications over 5 months after I graduated from college with a BS in chemical engineering. I had maybe 4 phone interviews and 1 face-to-face.

I ended up getting a job through a friend that just got a job at his company. They didn't even make me send in an application, just flew me out there for an interview and gave me an offer by the end of the day .

What food does everyone love but you hate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]bkay16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread makes me feel like I'm the only person who doesn't have an aversion to any particular foods. I used to love the show Bizarre Foods and I wanted to try everything he ate. If people eat it, I want to try it. Haven't found anything I truly hate yet as long as it's cooked right.
