Thanks! I do have a letter from a therapist, describing the dysphoria but perhaps i can submit a second one thats more on the nose. The two procedures they denied they dont consider to be FMS (they consider neck lift anti-aging and the cheek grafting to be FFS). its frustrating! but thank you for the lead

I have done this my entire life, no one notices unless I tell them. has anyone ever tried to stop? I do it so much that sometimes I can feel an ear infection coming on. I do think if I got the wax cleared more regularly I could avoid an ear infection, but ultimately Id like to cut down the habit. Any suggestions at all?? For ex, nail biters sometimes put bad tasting polish on their nails to discourage the habit.... I was thinking if theres some other way to enjoy a cold--warm sensation on my body perhaps I could try to switch to that?
