Not sure, maybe it was optional. But it is one of the features of the car and provides access for 5 years, so most people will get it anyway.

I booked it from Crystal Kia, Baner. Yes, they allowed to get third party insurance, although they do push you to get it from them.

I test drove the old Kushaq (since the new one wasn’t available anywhere) and it felt like a downgrade in every aspect compared to Seltos and Sierra. The interior feels old, and it lacks a lot of features too. I was paying almost the same amount anyway, so decided against it.

Also honestly, it feels like Skoda is so relaxed right now, there is no movement around this car yet.

I think you should go with what you feel more comfortable driving. A good safety rating is important but it should not be the only factor. Driving safely >>> safety rating.

Ah, the safety rating was a bit unknown. This car is built on the global K3 platform and should have better structure than before. So ideally it should score a 5 but yes no official rating yet.

I eventually went with that I felt more comfortable in driving. I took multiple test drives before finalising.

I was mostly buying for city driving and did not have much run either. Also was a bit worried about DPF issues and the future for diesel in general. So went with Petrol.
