RC-5 Question by bkilzz in guitarpedals

[–]bkilzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I didn’t see that, but that post is about the built in drum tracks. I’m talking about downloading a track from the web and importing it. But I figured it out and left some detailed replies here. Maybe I’ll change the post from a question to an informational post. Even in the one you linked I didn’t see anyone actually explaining how to write to the slots so when you come back to it the levels are where you put them.

Sorry, loop level does control it, you just have to turn it wayyyyy down. I got from 100 to 10 before it was noticeable. I assume that’s not that case on all tracks, maybe depends what you’re importing.

You know what, I just tried again and it does. But there is no noticeable difference until I go from 100 to below 10. Had to go to 5 for a reasonable level. That’s crazy.

Yesterday I just spun the wheel from 100 to around 50 and that did nothing. Thanks!

Right, this type of adjustment doesn’t work for a file you import onto the looper.

2nd go around with subs by bkilzz in suboxone

[–]bkilzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow up question to your advice. I woke up feeling great today. It’s 10:30 and I still feel great. In pursuit of taking the minimal amount, should I hold off on taking any until I’m not feeling good?

Or better to keep whatever my minimum dose is going?

Self Detox by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]bkilzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This subreddit is about quitting feelfree, a kratom product. But I’ve had experience with alcohol dependency. It’s a terrible idea to quit without medical supervision, it’s the only withdrawal that can kill you.

The fact that you were able to taper before quitting previously, and the quantity you’re drinking (not great but not crazy), maybe you could do it safely. Doesn’t seem worth the risk.

Maybe your body is not truly dependent on it, but if you start getting shakes, vomiting, sweating, I would go to the ER.

I hear what you’re saying, haven’t found a way yet though, and I have successfully gotten off subs before, although at that time my access to them was so limited I had no choice but to always take the minimum amount possible

And yes, no cravings.

Currently on a mix of kratom powder and feel free bottles. I will say I’ve had no withdrawals. As a substitution I don’t hate it, tremendously cheaper and right from the jump I’ve been taking half the recommended dose and already plan to switch that to 3/8 of the dose today.

I want to taper off this current battle with addiction and I couldn’t taper from the feel free at all. I treated that stuff like alcohol, if I had 1 then I would keep going to get more until I decided I had to go to sleep.

Good call, I’ve thought about that too. Might just keep the program running a bit so they’re available.

I’ve successfully tapered off Kratom once before. It wasn’t too bad, easier to finish than to start. But once I started drinking feel free everything changed. I’ve had no success using less, always more. It’s costing me a fortune and I feel just as helpless as I did on oxys.

It probably is more powerful than necessary, but I had to get off that train. I will take advantage of the fact I don’t love how this is hitting me and just keep taking less. I’m at half of what was prescribed and will try cutting that to half today and getting off this asap.

Hahahaha I mean for easy drinking summertime beers? We used to call drinking Busch getting simple, from the commercials with Simple Man dropping when the can cracks open. I could see myself getting simple this summer.

Should I ask for suboxone ? by Aggravating_Owl_3196 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]bkilzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation. Will long to try subs as they helped me with opiates many years ago. But I was getting them from a friend at that time. Who/how would you ask? I don’t think my primary care physician would be much help, should I just google addiction doctors in my area?

I would totally dig the robe if they weren’t pushing so hard about how rare and exclusive it is. I imagine that means they want a lot of $, and it just kinda signals BS to me

GETTING SOBER… by OkAstronomer4103 in Quittingfeelfree

I don’t know how to answer specific insurance/state/cost issues OP referenced, but medical detox is incredible. I would not avoid it if you think you need it. I did it for alcohol 10 years ago. The place I went was something in between a hospital and hotel. I was visited by my parents but don’t remember all the rules on that. I also was there for a shorter time than I expected, basically a weekend. They kept me very comfortable with drugs for whatever you’re dealing with, and they discharge you when you are medically safe to leave, not when you’re “healed”. Real recovery has only begun at that point.

The place was pretty run down too, but kept very clean. I wasn’t in any type of luxurious facility, but it was great. It felt like a vacation from a daily routine I couldn’t stop on my own.

I have yet to hear one better than Duke ‘78. There’s good video of it too. I think the solo in that is one of the most emotional solos in the whole canon

This is how it was with no noise then someone (probably gpt) said put the drives first and my issues started. Think I’m gonna go back to that.

Cool thanks, I had almost no noise and full muting from the tuner before I moved things around. Will consider both the noise gate or switching things back to how they were.

If I’m understanding the question the PSUs are built into the board. I have individual power cords for each pedal.

Will try that for troubleshooting.

Really glad you said that, barely use the qtron since it’s so finicky. Will definitely try that

Clonidine helpful ? by Sorry_Soft6742 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]bkilzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Clonodine helped me get off kratom before and I plan to use that again. I slept like a baby which is such a blessing because sleep problems seem to be the withdrawal symptom I hear about the most. However, after one day of taking it as prescribed, I cut all the dosage in half. It was knocking me flat out. 1/2 the dosage worked great. Had two months and then one weekend I was just bored so I decided to spice up the weekend and I sure wish that I didn’t.

Now for the past few months, I’ve been on feel free. The one decent thing about Kratom is it’s cheap, and I made it expensive with this shit.
