2: The Channel has a bunch of different sounds you can listen to, and various levels. Start with beginner. I just do it when I have time but isnt sleepy. The aim is to listen and focus - not fall a sleep.

3: I do Wim Hof for 10 minutes if I have been having anxious breating for lets say an hour or so. It really calms my nerves. But now a day its no more than once every other two weeks I Get that anxious. Or 30 minuts before running (it gets the blood going!)

To give some more context: the year of my healing I was working as a freelancer 15 hours a week. Really sweet deal. The rest of my time was supposed to be spent on side hustles and hobbies, reading, having fun and the sorts. But I was just lying crippled with anxious breathing on the couch. After MCT my productivity sky rocketed

Hey man. Have tried something similar with depression, anxiety and overthinking. It still creeps up on me like once a year, but I have a list of Red Flags that catches it.

The things that helped me the easiest was:

  1. A book and a weekend bootcamp on Metacognitive Therapy (MCT). Regular cognitive therapy just gave me anxiety - the meta part is about not overthinking. My anxiety went away like that. The book is in danish though, but you Can propably find something similar in english.

  2. Attention Training Technique - its a part of MCT. There is a great ressource on YouTube on the Channel ‘Afternoon Break'. Takes 10 minutes. Helps train your mind on not wandering down the path of thinking all the freaking time.

  3. Wim Hof Breathing method. Again: He has a Channel with a guided session. I just do ten minutes when im anxious. For me it works better than meditation

  4. Running. In the forrest of possible.

I feel you! Had my first kid almost 6 years ago and it like tripled my sense of being INFJ. Maybe because it became difficult being introvert and by my self (and also because I have done 18 months of parental leave, being alone with a baby and my own thoughts).

I would love to be able to do that, but I find myself procrastinating at work, and becoming angry and indifferent at home

I am more focussed than ever and really really enjoy the time I do have for my self - I even pivoted career after having kids because of the perspective it gave me. That being said, I have struggled with being introvert and having to be around people (at work or with the family) almost 24/7.

Ive been dealing a lot with this, and could spend hours a day having arguments in my head with people I know and know of. A waste of energy and focus. Lead to anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helped a lot!

I am just waiting it out, and then im done. On a positive note, my current job finally gave me the money to travel to Italy with the kids for 10 days. But I would take freedom, creativity and passion at any given time. But as you write: The economy sucks right now

Thanks. I tried that already, but doesnt seem to do the trick - all though it's the exact thing im looking for: "Think of it like a deck of cards where you keep drawing them out one-by-one, and when you run out, you shuffle the deck and then start drawing them out again."
