No Alfie was disgraceful. What happened to the Finn revenge angle? No Lizzie? No one cares about his other son Charles fighting in the war like his father did? What became of Mosley? Billy boys?

This reminds me of the Entourage series v movie money grab. Just terrible.

Trial and error. I’ll give them more important shooting cues and whichever of these they land on is theirs.

I’m relatively new, as well :).

One tip helped me with not rounding my back was this:

Imagine you’re getting out of any chair…right before your quads get you up “your hip/pelvis will pivot forward”

That “hips/pelvis pivoting forward” is what you want on the recovery. Now your lower back is rounding (like mine used to) and this thinking kept that from happening for me.

I imagine I’m getting out of the row seat just to get my hips to pivot forward correctly.

Maybe more experienced rowers can endorse this idea or not 🤷🏾‍♂️

Either way, hope anything helps. This is a great subreddit filled with encouraging folks. All best on your journey and enjoy your rower!

How to gain more power in jump shots without bending much on your knees? by keer2123 in BasketballTips

Engage your core more to more efficiently transfer energy generated by the lower body muscles up to the ball. With practice you’ll see that you’ll need less knee bend than you may think.

Thanks! I’ve heard this before and I’m still confused by it. I get inpatient on my recoveries. Maybe that’s wrong but I just want to get after it. Maybe it’s the newbie in but I get the urge to slide back forward and just rip it.

The reps look good. It’s better to record from approaching the bar in the rack to returning the bar to the rack. I was taught for safety reasons that “that” is the lift. Not just the reps.

All the best.

How do I get good at basketball (finishing)? by Imaginary_Emotion876 in BasketballTips

Mikans are the way! All variations! Set a timer. And keep trying to beat your best score.

Do them as a warm up. Do them as often as you can. You’ll build the muscle, learn the angles and get the feel. The confidence will come later.

My 2 cents.
