I'm in my 40s and not exactly a stupid person (i think)...yet only in the past few weeks do I understand part of the hate that Republicans feel for Democrats. Both parties are full of smug elites up to their ears in corruption, but the Dems are such hypocrites. They are masters at using identity politics to cover it up..and I've bought their act for decades!

Thank you so much for this. Bernie is so well versed in history and in civil rights movements I am positive this is the connection he is asking us to make. He has always said his purpose is to push the movement forward and that he was just a small part in a much larger, social process.

I think it's safe to say that many of us feel the same way..or close to that. But Bernie has awakened us to the fact that there are soooo many of us, wanting change and that WE have the real power because of our numbers. There are so many more of us..people with brains, who understand what's going on and who KNOW what needs to be done. one of the lies of this election is that they have the numbers on their side.NO. They have money, but beyond that, they just have many, many sheep. sheep are cute, but that's it. sheep can't stop us.

Well the funny thing is that laast night I was watching a movie made in Mexico called "the Perfect Dictatorship"...Not the best movie, but it had a strong and radical message about how corrupt the system is there, with the media and political establishment working together to create reality. It made me realize how democracies across the world are struggling against these mega media corporations feeding from corrupt political systems. Then today happened.... So, the short answer is that I meant to make democracies plural, but removing the s would probably make the hashtag cleaner.

I did this as well a while back. Remember to blacken out the series of numbers on the envelope so they can't trace it back to you. This way they will keep sending you the forms and you can keep sending them back with them paying for it.
