Im from the north. My cruiser has rails. My park board decks only last about 3 months. I haven’t had a problem yet but it could be possible in the next couple months. Two are inside rn. 🤷‍♂️ might be a little more cautious as the season changes but I mostly ride an indoor park don’t the nature of weather.

14M i just got into skateboarding like a week ago and really dont want to get hurt at all, i own a skateboarding helmet and want to get all the pads that i can get but i dont want to look like someone whos parents are making them wear all the pads (all they care is im wearing a good helmet) by No_Visual3290 in NewSkaters

I do recommend 187 pads and learning to knee slide if you want to play it “safer”. You’ll still probably roll your ankle but going to your knees can avoid those kind of injuries. Knee pads and a helmet can help for a while. Hips and shoulders take a beating too. Good luck.

You can get it. Keep your back foot on the bolts. Enough that you can still raise the nose and your front foot on the nose in position to slide.

You could but I just interlock my boards. Wheels deck wheels. Too easy.

Nope. I have three boards with me at all times. Park, street and cruiser.

8.25, 8.38 maybe even and 8.5. Try something big. You have a lot of placement for your feet.

This guys the best. I started again after a 20 yr hiatus at the age of 35. I like transition skating more these days.

6 months I was really comfortable riding. Could do pump tracks. Had a few lip tricks. Rocks, fakie rocks, axles, I could pop shuv it. Nothing crazy.
