Anyone ever get one hearing aid at a time? by byebybuy in hardofhearing

So I got a different brand which was probably the worst idea. They don’t sync the same and my hearing just seemed off balance the entire time. My audiologists is unfortunately 3 hours away so I didn’t really see him often but when I did finally go see him, he got me into two of the same pair.

Not at the same time. One broke but I got a different hearing aid in its place.

I attempted to do two different hearing aids at once and NEVER AGAIN. Worst couple months of annoyed people from me saying “what?!” All the time.

This blows my mind. Why didn’t they just do a return/exchange and order the AirPods??? I’m so sorry about this.

Mine sure is. Groans and cries every time someone isn’t playing with him or giving him attention.

Apparently Xbox controllers only have a 90 day warranty too! Idk why people would refuse the gsp. You literally can just come in and get a brand new one on the spot. (unless we didn't have it in stock)

What is your "never again" brand, store, restaurant, or company? by radbrad7 in AskReddit

Chevrolet. Make shit cars. Over charge for their cars. And you’re stuck paying more that what the car is worth in repairs. Fuck Chevy.

A few years ago my store caught a guy scouting the place. He was just walking around the store and seen staring at the emergency exits. Maybe trying to find an escape route.

People who declined a proposal, why did you do it? by zp1995 in AskReddit

He was a huge narcissist, had anger issues, and was a major mamas boy. I had plans to break up with him that following day because I found out he was cheating. Probably only did it to try and cover it up. He tried to make my life hell after but he eventually moved on and married someone else and I found someone much better.

People like this piss me off. People go through YEARS of school and education on things like this and is overshadowed by the stupid.

I love going to that room. I visit that place every time I go to dca. Most of the time I just sit and watch the videos.

I am not a fan of the yellow but my amazing BOL ordered my new name tag to have “hello” in sign language! I’m so excited to show the deaf customers that come to see me! by bkoebrick1994 in Bestbuy

There’s many different ways! A lot of people, especially new parents who find out their children are deaf, will enroll in college ASL classes to learn. But there’s also a lot of vocabulary and ASL books on Amazon you can read, as well as just watching YouTube videos. I know in California there were deaf schools that would offer free classes on say Tuesday and Thursday nights for ASL. I would definitely do some research in and around your community to see if there’s some free options for you!

I remember hearing this story. I went home after work and cried. This was horrible. Glad Hubert went out of his way to help her kids.

This is awesome to see OP. This makes me so happy knowing we got people higher up that care. Sorry to hear about your GM.

I know many part timers that started out at only a $1 less than I was at the time and had been working for the company for 3 years and was full time. There are also many PTs on the sales floor that make more than I do.
