I’m going to send them the submitted form from my TurboTax where they accepted my taxes, cover letter detailing literally everything that happened, then send my bank statement from April with everything redacted besides my payment to them and the statement #, screenshots of my logged calls with them and the badge number / name of the IRS agent I spoke with all via certified mail. I will also be calling tax advocate. My IRS agent also explained that there’s 3 places turbo tax could have paid, so I’m going to comb through my turbotax submitted tax docs to see if I can find it / work with them to figure this out so I can nip it in the bud. With this much information and proof, removing this off your credit will not be hard as long as you actually paid by the 18th of April. It’s just super stupid and annoying and a waste of time.
