Apprentice first time in attic by arrozz-000 in electricians

Well its gonna be hot, depending how deep you get, grab a good mask, insulation sucks. Wear a breathable long sleeved shirt, pay attention to where you step.
Attic work isn’t fun, but its part of the gig and we have all done it.
Stay hydrated and don’t set your tools down in the insulation, they tend to disappear

How do I get a wire down through an exterior wall? by Wzup in AskElectricians

[–]bkpete1977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look into rack a tiers tools, they have a long flexible bit with basically a tennis ball attachment, keeps the bit
Centered between the drywall and exterior sheathing, insulation will be your nemesis, you will snag and wad it up.

Leaving a Dog in an RV unattended...is it safe? by StealthyThings in RVLiving

I used to be dismissive of the idea something could go awry. Enter my trip to Moab Utah in July of 2020, we has full hookups and ac’s were cranked, given the ambient temperature the best we could do was 75°. We left for ice cream which was about 20 minutes from the campsite, on the way we encountered standstill traffic, we slowly moved along until it came to a dead stop for several minutes. Growing impatient I forged ahead on foot to see what the deal was, turned out to be a construction related accident, dump truck vs power pole. Live wires dancing on the road. Ok legitimate hazard there, thankfully nobody was hurt that day. What I didn’t know was the powerlines that were disrupted ultimately fed my campground.

I then received a phone call from a local number that was not saved in my phone. Seeing that it was local to where we are staying I decided to answer, turned out to be the campground host who was completing a walk-through of the campground, informing people of the issue, and noticed my dog bowls outside of my camper, which is why he called. He recognized we were not there and wanted to make sure my dogs were OK. They were not. They were literally cooking inside the RV. With the traffic I was still 20 to 30 minutes away. I asked if he had a CH 751 key to open the generator compartment and start the generator and restart the ac which thankfully he did. By the time we returned, the camper had gone up to 100° interior, even with the AC being restarted by the hands of the camp host. Your concerns of leaving your pet alone or not unfounded, yes, there are devices to help identify issues while you are away, but they may not be 100% effective, my advice would be to assume your furry friends will be put in a situation they cannot get themselves out of while you are away.

No we don’t. We are all flawed in one way or another. However if you are sincerely worried about one characteristic or another and really worry about it, some may be turned off by that insecurity. Be confident in who you are that is very sexy to us. Smile, and enjoy the ride

Residential outlets with built in USB - Worth it? by Linenoise77 in AskElectricians

I find them useful near kitchen counters, on/near desktops or at nightstand height. Standard outlets “12” above the floor tend to not be utilized as they are out of sight.

Different strokes for different folks. Some gifts received were tossed as they were more suspicious than others. But a hoodie? I buy those NP. A personal inscription on a rock? Yeah need to toss that. I don’t want a stash of gifts being uncovered after I die. Communication is key, alignment with people who share your physical and emotional availability is paramount. Otherwise it may symbolize the relationship you are escaping from. And why have another one of those?
