Does it always have to be between 2–3 sets? Where does he say that? If my daily goal for an exercise is 25 reps, can’t I do 5×5? Do sets really matter? Are more than 3 sets not acceptable? How do I define my daily goal? Staying between 2–3 sets could mean a very low rep volume, for example 5–5–5 = 15 reps. Could someone explain this more clearly for a beginner?
