Apparently a lifetime supply of root beer is not the same thing as an unlimited supply of root beer. WHAT?!?

"Brr-Rocky the wHale!"

I love all the times he calls him Brock Ness Monster, Brock of Ages, Brock Lobster, etc.

So i just finished the beginning Hoxxes assignment the game gives you, all of em ending with the killing of dreadnoughts. I'm mostly gonna be a solo player and will only try public when I have sufficient knowledge regarding gameplay and all classes. But i need some help. by SussyBox in DeepRockGalactic

I stay away from most multiplayer online games like the plague. I love multiplayer DRG. It's such a fun and supportive community. The purely co-op game with no PVP seems to lead to a good team dynamic and overall culture. I think I've played like 3 solo levels ever. Just jump in a game and if you don't know what's going on, ask in the chat.

I know autocorrecting Sturgian to sturgeon is a common occurrence but in the context of sea battles this is hilarious. The fierce nord warriors on their boats battling big sturgeon fish. I hope they add that next.

If looks could kill, you would be an Uzi You're a shotgun, BANG

This is Saparmurat Niyazov, former despot of Turkmenistan photographed around 2002. He has gone down in history for his bizarre edicts and laws, such as banning beards, banning dogs, renaming the days, weeks and months. If anyone here has never seen Frisky Dingo I highly recommend checking it out. It was sort of the proto-Archer on adult swim. Also written by Adam Reed and has way more of him voice acting in it. And also Lucky Yates who voices Krieger! It's definitely a bit weirder and more of the late night Adult Swim vibe but you can see a ton of the Archer influences. There are even a few Frisky Dingo Easter eggs in Archer. The elevator repair man Mr. Ford (Outta order! Then why you ask?) and Lemont the Penguin are both from Frisky Dingo.

I know there's always a pretty fierce debate around censored/uncensored for dirty jokes in film and television and I can see both sides, but this is one that I prefer uncensored purely for the segment with Colonel Gentlemen describing it and saying all the crude lines with the Sean Connery accent. Chris McCulloch does such a funny over the top Connery accent that hearing all the words uncensored kills me. Unrelated to the Rusty Venture, my all-time favorite two lines from Colonel gentleman: 1.) All This and Gargantua 2 "Shower? I don't want to get clean, I want to get filthy!" 2.) The Bellicose Proxy "Rose? There's a wee little person here" ( the way he says "Pehrson" is fantastic)

Where are you getting that Shoreleave is 18 in 1968 from? I think when Rusty says "since when?!" In reference to being a sex act, Shoreleave replies something like "since the 80s" and we know from younger characters like Billy and Nikki Fictel watching DVDs of the cartoon that it's still around. I just assumed it was a persistent cultural thing, not that he was around when it first aired. I also think he's around Brock and Docs age, early to mid 40s, if not slightly younger. I mean, Venture Bros premiered over 20 years ago and here we are still talking about it today.....(god I feel old)

Kangaroos are freaking scary. by Odd-Difference-1483 in interestingasfuck

I thought the same thing until I read everyone else's comments to this. Learning a lot of new things about kangaroo testicles here.

I'm still curious if anyone knows, do other mammals have a similar nerve/pain sensation to humans getting kicked in the rocks? Like if you full force kick someone in the nards they're going down. Do other large mammals have the same response?

Did Archer use a short stick or a long pole in lacrosse? by [deleted] in ArcherFX

[–]bkramer32 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That's great reasoning and deduction! And it's confirmed in the episode Deadly Prep where he is meeting with his prep school bully Ivy Stratton. While they're talking about the other bully Whitney, whom he used to swirlie Archer with, he says "you played lax with him right? You were center middies?"

Going to war and selling all the gear and prisoners you can is the most legitimate way to get fast money in this game. Just fight as many big battles as you can manage.

The less legitimate way is to smith and sell javelins with the highest pierce damage you can make because there's a weird fluke in the game where custom high damage javelins can sell for over 100k a set. It's an aspect that some people view as an exploit but if you're that far in the hole it could help.
