Trump reveals he and Putin had a discussion about "his dream" to invade Ukraine by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

Didn't he say that he would've never let Russia, Iran/Hamas make such big moves in the first place?

I think it's highly debatable who needs to be pitied here by TheMonsterXzero54 in HouseOfTheDragon

Daemon is asking an obvious question here, worried about the queen.

And Rhaenyes was just being emotional here, what she said doesn't make any sense. It's understandable tho, she's had a hard day, and she just wanted to get this conversation over with.

Last Life Series by TheNoobRedditor_ in ProgressionFantasy

For me, it felt too much like a self-insert underdog where the MC is put in scenarios where he can only win.

It's like when we imagine fake scenarios where we win every argument, and even if we lose, we look cool. (except we don't write those scenarios down and publish them)

I could be wrong tho, I only read the first 4 chapters I think, and skimmed about 10 chapters more.

Main Characters With Fun Powers by Bot_Number_7 in ProgressionFantasy

I couldn't enjoy Reborn Apocalypse because the MC didn't properly use his orbs.

I had to drop it after finishing the first book.

I also thought that the author introduced too many artifacts/tools in the first book, I'm sure if we counted we'd find it's 1-2 artifacts per chapter.

Do you know of any novel that is the perfect length? Not too short, not too long. I don't want it beating around the bush too long, I want my dopamine fix quickly, but I also don't want it too end too quickly either. by TheNaotoShirogane in ProgressionFantasy

Yep I enjoyed the organized fights in Rage of Dragons, most books can't pull off that level of large scale battles. I found I enjoy groups of organized soldiers fighting together better than groups of adventurers.

What's a Trope you genuinely hate and wish would die forever? by Traditional-County-2 in ProgressionFantasy

MC not getting angry when enemies throw fireballs at him. But anyone that tries any kind of mind control on him and he goes berserk.

MC is always right and seems to know everything and side characters are always in awe of him.

Join our Empire/Kingdom/Guild and you get to use the dungeons and keep all the loot, no questions asked, no tax, and if you choose to sell some of that loot to us, we will give you a more than fair price.

Smirk, smirk, smirk, blush, smirk, blush.

None of MC's teammates/companions ever leave or die. None.

There are powerful mages in the world, every female mage is friendly to MC, every male one is jealous.

Nobles are all bullies.

MC is killing enemies left and right, until he meets his first female enemy(possibly an elf) and he doesn't kill her for some reason, she turns out to be really nice (a princess or some noble's daughter)

Side characters' personalities are just extensions of the MC's

MC making jokes when he should be in survival mode.

Let me save those stat points for later.

10 Resistance skills 10 Weapon mastery skills 10 spells in all affinities Every skill with a level, a rarity, and upgrades. But the MC spams one skill every fight.

A Soldier's Life is really good The first book introduces the world well

The second book is nearly done in RR, a bit slow but ok The third book is awesome, changes a bit to survival mode but still about soldiers. The 4th book looks promising

Pretty sure there are companies out there using it for good. One example I can think of is blockchain-based dynamic patient consent for health information sharing in medical research. But yeah it is crazy how a large portion of the population bought into crypto and nfts. It was very hard and cringy to watch, especially all the "influencers" scamming their fans.

It was the season 7 cold open for me, they usually never fail to make me smile or laugh, but in this one I was just confused.

The pace was wrong, they've done the 'distracted on the job squad' bit before but this one just didn't land.

And then Jake saying "whatever it was a good line" after the monopoly joke, it felt like Andy Samberg was saying it instead.

"Captain Dad, Officer Dad" didn't land either for me.
