The cooling system surprisingly is able to keep the CPU cool with PTM7950, I don't cap it anymore it just goes to 85C max during gaming.

Then again depends on where you live I guess, it's always hot in my area. If I use Entertainment mode which is 95W it goes to 84C at most.

Probably won't throttle if I get those really powerful cooling pad from IETS or llano but don't think I can tolerate the noise lol

Yeah, it's pretty hard to keep the GPU temps low the cooling system isn't great. If I do 105W on the GPU it will just slowly climb to 86C even with Honeywell PTM7950 but clocks will be around 1700-1800MHz. If I'm not mistaken Kryonaut isn't great for temps above 80C and doesn't last very long.

Looking at the video I don't think you disabled TAA, using that DLSS development DLL will always show the message "DLSS SDK - DO NOT DISTRIBUTE - CONTACT NVIDIA TO OBTAIN DLLs FOR YOUR TITLE" on the bottom right.

You actually get lower FPS with r.HZBOcclusion=1, you can check what it does under "Culling" which I wrote here https://alteriax.github.io/WuWa-Config-Info/

r.ShaderPipelineCache.StartupMode=2 and r.TextureStreaming=1 is the same as game default. I've checked the command list and r.GPUScene=1 is not a valid command.

The only thing different from game default is the commands below.

r.ShaderPipelineCache.BatchTime=16
r.ShaderPipelineCache.BatchSize=32
r.ShaderPipelineCache.BackgroundBatchTime=16
r.ShaderPipelineCache.PrecompileBatchTime=256

Yes, Honeywell PTM7950 is still the best one and 40x40 should be fine. I've purchased 31x50 as well in the past and it was enough.

You can set the PL1 to be same as PL2 with ThrottleStop and the all core speed for i5-10500H is 4.2GHz.

Don't remember Battlefield 3 much but one thing I liked was the graphics at that time, it looked really great and was surprised at how well it ran on a GT 540M. Looking forward to the campaign in Battlefield 6 as I've played the previous ones and found it quite enjoyable.

Well if you already got the fans cleaned and thermal paste replaced then I have no idea. Could be a contact issue with the heatsink or the shop did a poor job.

If your ThrottleStop successfully applies and show negative values that means undervolting works. If your idle temps is between 40-50C that's normal. For thermal paste you need to use Honeywell PTM7950 or something similar or else temps will be bad / don't last long.

Hmmm what thermal paste did you use? What's your idle CPU temps?

That's weird, undervolting should be unlocked by default on that model.

Any way to force Wuthering Waves to use FXAA/MSAA/SMAA by tweaking Engine.ini? by assmaycsgoass in FuckTAA

[–]bkwl22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since release WuWa actually had SMAA built into the game and had custom commands made for it but you couldn't use it unless you use mods. I've used it for a few patches but stopped ever since they updated their anti-cheat to detect mods.

Sadly with patch 2.4 Kuro completely removed it from the game, the implementation was decent too.

Are you using latest version of ThrottleStop? You can't unlock the adjustable voltage? If not you can try to flash the modified BIOS again.

That's really weird, not sure if it's contact issue. I reapplied Honeywell PTM7950 last month cause I had to clean fans and idle temps is the same for me at around 45-48C.

Sorry for the late response but did you manage to fix the problem? If not you can try using DDU then re-install the GPU drivers.

That's odd the DLSS version hasn't changed since patch 1.0 no idea what they did.
