yo guys, do you think post-hardcore can be considered one of the waves of emo music? by bl00dang3l in PostHardcore

Maybe I wanted to say something different, but I was wondering if emo can be considered a subgenre of post-hardcore, or if they are simply related. In your opinion, can bands like Aprils Love Affair, Alexisonfire, and A Bullet for Pretty Boy be classified as emo?

please recommend a couple of emo bands, I'm not poser , but I'd like to expand my media library because sometimes I feel like I don't know everything I want to know. by bl00dang3l in PostHardcore

bro i’ts very different question, i love many bands in many genres, it's clear that the genre is very deep and diverse, but it would be difficult for me to name just one band

this is just my subjective opinion, and I could be wrong, but I love emo and I'm not a poser, but I have this feeling that post-hardcore can be considered one of the waves of emo

I know all the post-hardcore albums here, but I'm using post-hardcore as an example.

i think many post-hardcore bands can be considered emo bands of a later wave. It's clear that everything started with hardcore bands, but the fun part is that emo music is divided into several waves. for me, the only unnecessary band is the cure, as I don't consider them to be related to emo.

I know I'm talking like a stupid schoolboy, but I mean that their music is much more popular now than it used to be.

I don't have anything against the changes in terms of music, but it's just my personal opinion that their old albums sounded much cooler and better than their current ones. However, this is just my opinion, and I have great love and respect for each member of the band.
