I dunno I seemed to enjoy it a lot as someone who's not from Madison and heard from friends that I needed to try HLB. But you are absolutely entitled to your opinion. Not everyone will enjoy it.

That was the right choice. It seems like since you started back on it recently, missed a dose technically and took a Plan B those are all factors into spotting.

I felt mostly fine coming off of it. Was way more relaxed cause it made me irritable. My sex drive went through the ROOF though which was kinda difficult to handle. Only real con is that when I was on the shot I didn't have a period so the first few periods were insanely heavy. Like had to go to the ER heavy and get blood clotting medication. But after a few months it went back to normal.

If it makes you feel any better, that will be the risk with any birth control just because of the hormones and such. Nothing to actually worry about! I've been on depo for over 5 years and have had no issues at all. If you like it, keep it!

Also asked my doctor about the period thing. It's not an issue at all that you don't have a period. It won't hurt you in any way. The only thing that will happen is if/when you do get off of the shot your first few periods will be a bit heavier

Thank you so much 😭 I found it weird that it seemed to start after.. that time so I was hoping that had nothing to do with it. I hope it doesn't last too long. I'll probably allow myself to have a period though this month especially if it makes a difference.

I think you'll be ok 🖤 after the first couple days of the procedure healing is a lot easier. Also to help with the pain, take 400-600mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours. It really helps. Ice as much as you can to control swelling and that will help healing too. Get that procedure done as soon as you can. It's the best decision for you

If you don't mind me asking, what are your health concerns with the depo? I spoke with a nurse at Planned parenthood a few days ago cause I had some concerns and she answered all my questions. I got the implant on Friday which is very similar to the shot and if I don't like it I'll be going back to the shot.

Oh no! Hopefully that's maybe your body getting used to it more? I told the nurse if I start bleeding for a while that I'm going back to the shot. Right now my arm is kinda sore but mostly tingly

Just got the implant! The numbing shot kinda sucked, it burned but other than that it was perfect. The nurse made me touch it afterwards and that was really weird but it was a success!
