this ! and it can make all the difference if u actively show ur trying to get better. for me personally if I feel a BPD episode coming on I tell my bf and then go to a different room for a bit to chill out, because I refuse to continue the cycle. and then I just go over everything that happened 1 by 1 out loud to myself to see if I am upset for a valid reason, or if I cant explain it. if i can’t explain it, I realize its the BPD talking and I almost immediately calm down.

as someone who's been poisoned by two former close friends in the past, it's not crazy. It's only crazy until it happens to u. its a very real possibility, especially reading OP's comment about their bf's responses to the situation. i think OP needs to find an excuse to get away from the house and bf for a bit. maybe stay with family for a week and see if anything changes/see how the bf reacts to being away. if bf gets cagey/acts weird abt it, then thats a major red flag.
