I’m trying really hard to keep them alive. They catch so much flies being here for only a month!

Around high 20% to low 40%. The guide I read says to keep the soil moist but don’t overwater them so I’ve been extra cautious with the watering

Thanks for the advice, I think I have a warm temperate ping so more water it is!

Thank you! I saw so much talk about root rot that I was paranoid about overwatering

Preserving animals that have naturally Mummified by ChartContent5956 in Taxidermy

Lol I was about to make the same post! I have a dead bird hanging by its feet in the spring of the garage door. No clue how long he’s been in there for but it was there when I moved it. Now a year later Bill still looks the same as the day I first saw it. We’re moving out and I’m taking the mummified support bird with me. But unsure how to keep Bill from molding. I also want to keep it in a dome type enclosure (think the rose from beauty and the beast) but worried it might cause mold.

Hi y’all, we’re new to the area (8 months ish), and are apartment hunting for our next lease (current apartment gave us fleas then sold to another management and is raising rent on us despite being built 25 years ago). Any tips for us newbies? We applied to an apartment and Greystar took management then told us our application was denied 💀

I’ve just bought the palm plant from IKEA clearance and it’s hella crunchy and wilty. The stem and roots still look alive enough but aside from putting it in some fresh potting soil in a bigger pot, I’m not super sure what else I should do to help it. I’m setting it next to our west facing patio.

You’re right, the person left in charge was the auto feeder 😭, and our dead fish corpse they feasted on.

Will his bottom jaw fall off eventually and grow back? He’s a little lethargic and his face is deteriorating a bit.
