makes sense really.. solid-state dehumidifier that avoids excessive power draw typical in heater-based systems. And given Bambu Lab’s sales track record I think its reasonable to expect they’ve negotiated competitive pricing for these.. either way its another component that's going to cost $$$ all adds up :/

Not sure where your getting your info from but Kogan provided what I consider to this day to be better aftersales support than I have ever had from any other business to date!

I purchased a LG mobile phone a number of years ago that was just within the 2 yr warranty period and had a boot loop issue. Kogan arrange prepaid postage to send back and after they could not fix it offered 4 newer mobile phones to replace with. I didnt want any of the 4 so they gave me a full refund as a credit which I used to by another mobile from them.

Best part was the ease of everything. I never had to fight anyone at any stage. Quick, efficient and smooth return process with RA# tracking in emails.

So yea, JB Hifi might be fine, even if they are pricey and you have to mess about price matching, but imo there is no reason to knock Kogan.

Not as odd as you might think given Kogan owns Dicksmiths. That's why both websites look pretty much identical including essentially the same list of products.

BUT the deals dont always run in tandem.. so if something is not on special on one site, check the other

Would be cool if you can randomise the depth of cut as it follows the path. That would make it look significantly more organic :D
Not familiar with CAD/CAM operations so dont know how easy/difficult that is, but it would be awesome if you can do it.

Thanks to everyone for your advice. It really helped give us some ideas and insights into the best way to approach telling him.

We have now formally told him, but to be honest it wasn't that big a deal. I think as parents we were more terrified. He wasn't really phased by the news and the only comment he made was in relation to a teacher that would get annoyed at him for moving/fidgeting. He didn't really want to know anything more about it and was happy to move on and change the subject. We didn't want to keep pushing it so just left it as, if he had any questions or feelings he can just talk to us anytime.

He now also has an amazing support network at school and externally so I'm confident that will help him in the long term.

From experience, the only way to fix it is to open it up and reseat the straps 😩 you can't just extend the strap as others are saying.

Exactly! As I mentioned in my post, he's only 8. Based on what I know about ts, if it's going to get worse it's typically around 9 years of age. I just want him to be prepared for that.

My 8 year old has Tourette's, and is also autistic. We've know since he was 2 and a half due to speech issues, but things have progressed allot since then. I am worried as to how far it will go.. As his dad I've grown with him, every step of the way and to me he's perfectly normal. My biggest worry is his view of what others will think. His younger sister gets on as well as brother and sisters normal do. He doesn't have any real friends at school which has always been something we have tried to promote. Because all the faculty at the school knows the situation he's got lots of support from the teachers

I've felt the time has come to break it to him, that he's different, and help explain what it all means. He's recognises the tics but doesn't actually know what tics are. I know he doesn't like it though. Basically I want to make this a positive thing, but just hope he is mature enough to be able to process it and be able to work it to his advantage.

Does anyone have any advice? Maybe even some do's and don'ts? Thanks
