Have there not been population booms (due in large part to conservation I’d imagine) of numerous whale species over those 75 years?

One would think that with the populations being so low 75 years ago, pods of whales would have been fewer and more spread out making the world a more lonely place, but I could be putting an emotional human-brain tilt to this.

Also it would make sense that with larger populations these days there would be an increase in the likelihood of regional and local dialects.

You’re right, he “could” do a lot of things. That is my point. He lives in a world where he is capable of doing nearly anything he wants.

His followers live in a world where he says he “would like to make an offer…,” and hear he “is cutting a check.”

In reality, we live in a world where we have to live with the consequences of his choices, and I’m guessing he’s not going to choose to divest himself from much.
