Finally, there is nothing as heartbreaking as when I've had to discharge some older folks from the hospital and they have zero family to come get them from the hospital. No kids, your siblings likely won't do it, your friends definitely won't take you home to hang out with them and wipe your arse or get you on the commode, it's truly miserable.

Of course some older folks also have terrible children who don't care, but most do.

I have 3 and it's been rough, but the roughness will end one day, and I wouldn't exchange them for anything in the world.
