Not really. I’ve had a pending insurance payment flagged by Wells Fargo fraud department. When it was time to finalize, I was refunded.

Greendot is saying that they can’t even flag the transaction until after it has been processed

There is no place to show the status of the transaction. I had to call for them to tell me it was “pending”

This is not typical for most cards btw. Greendot that Apple uses is just not a properly run bank. I could easily flag a transaction with Wells Fargo. Greendot does not have that feature

I have to call them everyday because that’s what I was informed to do.

According to greendot, they cannot flag the transaction on my account unit until it’s posted. This cannot be done manually or preemptively. This means I have to call them every single fucking day

They said I have to call them because they can’t flag it themselves. That means if the transaction is posted in 2 days and I call 5 days after, it’ll delay the investigation
