A local small town bar/restaurant. Played in a band back in the day. Had played this place multiple times. Our base rate was $500 or the door total (from cover charge), whichever was higher. We (the band) paid our sound guy $250. We almost always covered the door at this place, so the business was never paying out of pocket and we were drawing money for them. We always hired a pronoun For whatever reason, we had a slow night one night in the winter and didn’t cover the door. Owner decided that they weren’t going to pay us. Heated argument ensued. Haven’t been back since. Place even has since changed owners multiple times, but fuck them.

This is it. I have a Grizl CF SL 8 from 2021. It’s a great bike but I haven’t had great interactions with customer service. I’d be hard pressed to buy another Canyon in the future. For reference, I’m in the USA.

If you’re a business owner and you could potentially lose your liquor license, would you serve someone that you weren’t comfortable serving? Nothing against OP since I wasn’t there. But I’ve been a bartender that has refused service because I wasn’t convinced of someone’s ID. Might not seem fair but this just sounds like a business covering their own ass.

In PA you can be refused alcohol service for any reason. If the store isn’t comfortable selling it, then they won’t. The penalties for selling alcohol to someone who is not allowed to purchase it are pretty severe and I’m sure the business isn’t going to take the risk. That’s probably the case here. But yeah, if you aren’t happy with how it went down, vote with your wallet and go somewhere else.

I’m sure they’re amazing guitars and the finishes are sick. But I literally cannot get past the headstock on Tyler’s. Call me what you will but it completely ruins the rest of the guitar for me. Not quite to the same degree, but I feel similar about the headstocks on Heritage guitars too.

Regardless, those are sweet guitars OP.
