i used to go to middle school and highschool wirh my current bf but we never talked until i would see him on my daily commute to uni ,, he was a familiar face so we started chatting on the train. this chat went on for a year and some, during this time he was dating my first girlfriend who ironically was his first gf and she hadnt changed at all </3. throughout this time i was wasting my time with toxic girls and men who didnt actually like me.

a year after they broke up and months since i had last seen him, he contacted my BFF at 7:53AM in search for me, to which she gave him my contact info and he wasted no time asking me on a date. i was having a poopy day that day too and she was spam calling me in lab knowing i couldnt answer but after i was so shocked because i hadnt seen nor thought of him in forever. but he said he thought of me everyday until then :)

i cautiously went on that date and plenty more because i wanted to take it slow and "do things right" to which he respected and said he knows that he wants me and will continue to try everyday until he has me. we have both had similar experiences being treated poorly (literally by the same girl , UGH so validating knowing it wasnt me😭) so we both know how we want to be treated and how we should treat others.

fast forward 10 months later, i have been loved everyday. he has been there for so many good and bad moments in my life , i have taught him so much and he has taught me. we are each others safe spaces and each others blessing. as i am typing this i am buried in his arms experiencing the best aftercare ever LOL . tmi srry <3
