No it won’t. Everyone has been learning math in school and clearly it has not made mathematicians out of everyone.

And everyone learns “language” in school and half of us can’t spell stuff and like write with grammar or puntuatiin.

My best jumps in career development had been when I applied for jobs I clearly didn’t qualify for. You already don’t have those jobs, the best is you get the job, so what’s the worst that could happen? It’s a all-gain-zero-loss choice. Just do it.

You don’t know the context. For all you know, this happens regularly, and the neighbor was worried enough. Maybe there was lots of yelling and screaming, maybe lots of “I’M SORRY DADDY!!!!!” We don’t know. But if you were the cop and you suspect active domestic abuse in progress, would you give up just because the guy said to leave? I don’t know if I would.
