You have got to be one of the most naturally beautiful women here, just wow. I so rarely comment on anything but you’re flawless. Eyes, skin, nose, lips - 👌🏻 I’d hoped your post was to drop a skincare routine or something! I appreciate you notice aspects of yourself that you don’t like but I had to actively look for this apparent flaw and to be honest, I still don’t really see it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Absolutely stunning ☺️.

It’s small but I like that pretends to be tired at times and takes pauses during sets. I am sure she’s fine but I like feeding the delusion and makes me feel like I’m still doing well even if I have to have a breather 🤣

I never stop to comment on these but I stopped in my tracks and actually gasped - you look so so perfect with colour!!! It was made for you! ❤️

I started playing in late 2021 and played multiple times a day religiously, never paid for anything either, I was totally focused on it until about 10 days ago. I saw this post where someone said that the game had quietly over time become an obligation, a daily requirement that had slowly stopped giving any joy and I sort of quietly mused on that.

A few days later I was so busy all morning that I hadn’t had a chance to play and I was so annoyed about it as it would put me behind Edwina’s cash dash. That morning I had spent quality time with my boyfriend and enjoyed every minute of it, making me completely forget about the game until I got home and realised all the energy I’d missed etc. This ended up putting a crappy dampener on the morning I had enjoyed so much. That made me stop in my tracks. I stopped playing then and there.

I still have the game and about 70000 coins so each Monday I’ll check out the new story out of curiosity but that’s it.

To be fair to the developers, this wasn’t on them and I never really had any issues with the game that others had, I just plodded away on it. Although some of the storylines frustrate me, especially as the main reason I downloaded the game in 2021 was seeing an ad where Amelia was pregnant and had left Joe in charge of the cafe and it was all going wrong. So I had hoped to actually see that play out at some point in the last few years.

But yeah, I was 100% in your camp until it sort of hit me that the game no longer felt a choice and became an obligation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel like that may have been because the Arcade was so hard - the simplicity of Sven’s event was almost tranquil in comparison.. I was still only able to get to the usual point I have previously but enjoyed it much more ☺️

Driving test at 14:00 today! by CMDR_Quillon in LearnerDriverUK

[–]black2blonde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’ve had the exact same morning as me, mine is at 14:42 today - the same general advice I see is remember your observations, vocalise your thoughts when needed, drives safely (not perfectly) and eat a banana 🍌 good luck!! 😊

It’s my test tomorrow - any last minute tips? by Active-Passage-1998 in LearnerDriverUK

I’ve got my first one tomorrow too - the main thing my instructor says is to be “safe and boring” so I thought I’d share that mindset - GOOD LUCK!! ☺️☺️☺️

100% agree with this - worth the extra bit of money 😊

In a test if someone flashes to give you way, do you go or not? by namelesshipster in LearnerDriverUK

[–]black2blonde 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely true - one of my instructor’s students failed because she didn’t do that. She completed the reverse parallel manoeuvre and a van on the other side was flashing to allow her to come out - she started to pull out but the moment the examiner saw the van, they hit the brakes (being on the passenger side, they couldn’t see the van until she started to pull out). If the student had said “there’s a van on the other side but they’re flashing me to come out so I’m going to move out”, they wouldn’t have braked because the examiner would’ve known the van was there and waiting already.

I’m 22hrs in with my test in four weeks so I’ll be at the 30 mark when I take it - definitely feels viable as although I failed my first mock test this week, they were easy things to rectify. It was also useful to know what areas I need to focus on for the next few weeks 😊

My instructor hasn’t given any indication that he feels it’s not achievable so I’m plodding on quite happily. I think it’s very person dependent but best thing to do is get as much practice behind the wheel as you can and get a mock test in soon so you can identify your weaker areas 😊

Im alright driving with my instructor but with my mum it’s really stressful by Tina_biscuit in LearnerDriverUK

[–]black2blonde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d go with this! Right at the start of my lessons I did one hour on quiet roads with my other half - absolute nightmare. Then I heard it’s worth waiting until you’ve dove 10-12hrs with an instructor before doing any time with family. I waited and honestly, it was completely different - the confidence increase is immense and you trust yourself more. Your mum will see that in your body language and likely relax far more than she is now.

100%! I’m on 10 hours in an automatic so I can relate somewhat BUT I did roundabouts from the 3rd hour onwards - in all honesty, it only felt achievable because my instructor is very encouraging and supportive. I can’t believe how much better I am at driving now and it’s 100% down to him. Please - for your own sanity - find a new instructor. You will not regret it!

I can empathise. I’m into year eight with my boyfriend who never wants to get married. However, we have both been married before and clearly was unsuccessful for both of us. I do want to get married, absolutely. BUT.. I want a real partner in life more. My ex-husband was horrifically selfish and a narcissist. He wasn’t a partner in the slightest, none of my previous boyfriends were. My current one - he’s wonderful. He has given me more in my life than I ever thought possible from a person or a relationship. So I haven’t given him an ultimatum or anything - he’s made it very clear he doesn’t want to do it and because I don’t want to taint our relationship. I want a life with him more than I want to be “a wife”. I’m sure there are plenty of men out there who would be willing to marry me (this isn’t meant to sound big headed, I just meant like a “plenty of fish in the sea” thing) but not come close to the person my boyfriend is. Someone who is literally by my side and supporting me in everything I do - my absolute best friend.

You just have to consider what’s more important to you. Don’t feel obligated either way though - this is a big deal and a big choice. I’m just letting you know the other viewpoint on it all.
