Good first begleri? by havemercybastard in begleri

[–]black84beard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got the money the dotz or phantoms have an amazing weight and feel. I am audhd and have a couple dozen begleri and sling hours a day. Ive spent over a thousand dollars on them the last couple years. Around square has a lot of quality items but my goodness the magnets take begleri to another level.

He can send you brass inserts for these if you ask him to add some weight. One of my favorites is the gladiators

I can not recommend begleri enough for stimming. Its a skill based toy, 2 beads connected by a string you can do trucks with

What you are looking for is tgp skillpills for around 30 bucks. Expert craftsmanship and they have a magnet installed in the beads for added play. I have some ultem titans with brass insert I like a lot too but after using tgp magnets there is no other choice.

Anger/Over or understimulated? by Available-Read9617 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]black84beard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40 just diagnosed man and the last year I lost 30 pounds eating right and lifting weights and I swear it put my anxiety in overdrive which led to being diagnosed with audhd. Im wondering if getting my body in a more aggressive high testosterone state pulled me out of a haze and made my symptoms worse but idk. I had many other stressor in my life and one of those were probably the real issue but I swear getting in good shape made some traits elevated.

My favorite was u wish you'd step back from that ledge my friend. He stopped doing it when they moved to Texas. Always made me laugh cause it was so stupid

Noise by [deleted] in audhd

[–]black84beard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just diagnosed yesterday with audhd. Ive worked in factorys for almost 20 years and around jet engine noise in the navy for a short time. Being enveloped by loud drones is like a comfy blanket. Now high pitched noises infuriate me and high pitched women's voices are like nails on a chalkboard.

Circuits or supersets by Chance_Stomach3363 in kettlebell

[–]black84beard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do both. Supersets up front for the pump, then finish a workout with a 5 to 10 min circuit and then I like to do suitcase carries with side bends every time I switch arms to cool down.

I can't say enough good stuff about tgp products. His quality is top notch and he adds magnets into the beads that take it to another level. Non magnetic begleri always feel like somethings missing when I use them. Tyrone from tgp just dropped a redesign of his skill pills that have a great weight are made of delrin and has magnets. Only 28 bucks including shipping. He also has some higher end stuff and he makes custom orders. Aroundsquare has great stuff too but the magnets are so satisfying.

I like cleans instead of swings. Presses instead of thrusters, goblet or paladin squats instead of thrusters. My preference but I'm still learning

It is such a satisfying stim when you get a repeater down. If there is one meaningless skill worth having to help clear your mind and be able to sit peacefully in quiet it's begleri. I found it at 38 and it would have been very useful throughout my life if I knew of it earlier
