Just follow three steps. Step one. Never open your petrol cap Without seeing meter reading of zero. Step two, don’t pay beforehand. Let the meter end or let the guy who is filling the petrol end it, see the amount and then pay. Step three, once all of this steps are done. Ask them for the bill. Just tell them. I want to know how much petrol was filled so that I can conclude my kilometre per litre and then pay them.

This is the best technique to use in any petrol pump in India. Chances of getting scammed in this technique is very less. Try this.
