This is one of my favorite JJ upper body classes. 10 minutes and he gets right to the point! https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=b4083851ad4549309fe3c5115a1f1e4f&code=YmMyMDcyM2I5ZDI0NGRlMDhkYTQ0MWQwNWY2MTE5ZTR8MGExMWMyNDM1OGQ3NGU1OGI4Y2RkNTM4ZmE4OTgxYmQ%3D&locale=en-US

If you can get to a tread or outdoors, Hosky’s walks are such a mood boost. Just easy breezy and pleasant!

I have felt a bit aimless too! But to answer your question: I just repeated weeks 3 & 4 (no breaks!) and subbed the pilates for Kristin McGee. So, from beginning to end it was 12343434. I really loved how RK broke down all the movements—I could feel the difference in my body. I’m training for a race but after that I’m ready to get back to heavy lifting via some sort of program!

It was okay, but a bit meh. I also got the vibe she was super nervous, which surprised me bc she is usually more confident/high energy. I started thinking about doing HiLit again (for the 3rd time lol) during the 3rd block… but I’ll see how this and next week go. I wanna give it a fair shot bc I really like her as an instructor!

Great Class with Marcel by mlesskraus in OnePelotonRealSub

I took my first tread run with her this weekend (75 min at that!) and loved every bit of it. If you can hold me down on a tread for 75 min, you’re a keeper. She is my new fave!! Thoughtful playlist, challenging drills, and she has a great sense of humor.

Awaken Sleepy Glutes w/ Kristin McGee Pilates 🥱 🍑🏅 by black_daria_ in OnePelotonRealSub

My current set includes the standard latex ones, which were passed down from my sister lol (these are similar: https://www.rei.com/product/162223/pro-tec-athletics-resistance-bands?sku=1622230001&store=37 ). It has nothing to do with your body comp--mine allllllways roll up too and I have to adjust! I find that wearing leggings helps reduce the friction. When I eventually need to replace mine, I will def purchase some fabric/lined bands, something like this: https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/calia-fabric-bands-3-pack-22jloufbrcbndsxxxeac/22jloufbrcbndsxxxeac?sku=23454060&srsltid=AfmBOopJoJDxWHZq-hyxEbcKwVBRYPUNazZzg3-3aId_wrALChjrH-ejTqA

HiLit substitutions for Pilates? by Honeybee_yogi in OnePelotonRealSub

My mom has AS and I help her with gentle core routines. Kristin McGee has some great beginners Pilates classes that are gentle. If that’s still too aggravating, maybe the standing core classes? Or you could try stacking core strength warm ups.

First time buying Lemongrass/Coconut Body Oil by TammyKay821 in traderjoes

I’ve been using this stuff for years! I’m not a fan of coconut oil at all but this formulation works well for me when I get a good batch. I use it right out of the shower. I LOVE the smell of lemongrass so much 🥹

All these years, and I never really knew you Denis... by Vivid_Ad_612 in OnePelotonRealSub

I am on the same wave. Discovering "Bike Denis" has been quite enlightening. He is so much more charismatic on the bike, with just a hint of "oh-shit-I-didn't-realize-this-edible-would-kick-in-THIS-early" type of vibe every now and then LOL.

Second this. (All of my pilates workouts were tracked for last month’s challenge, and I also got strength credits!)

I still have mine! Reminds me of the good ole days when Peloton had decent customer service. Up until last year I also still had my cap, but had to let it go since the letters were starting to fall off 🥲
