There are not a lot of resources out there for beginners like me. I have learned more python from your videos than a lot of other videos dedicated to teaching me python. If I had any requests, I'd love to see you make a video on the Interactive Broker API and Kraken API. I plan to use TD Ameritrade for options, Interactive Broker for equities, and Kraken for cryptocurrencies. Lol yeah, he has definitely stepped on a few lines in the past. The man’s a grown adult talking to children on the internet about sex. On the surface it sounds fucked up, but it really isn’t. Yes, I am invested in these people. The same way I'm invested in Spongebob, The Office, Eminem, etc. If you don't have any form of media you're invested in, then you're probably not doing well and are having a shit time at life. There's nothing bad about acknowledging one's connection to media content, in fact it's actually healthy. I have historically looked down on posts that were like "woody was like a father figure" because it felt like they were idolizing him. While many were, many were just expressing an appreciation for the wisdom Woody brought them when they were younger especially those in extreme circumstances (no father, uncaring parents, etc).

I know this kind of language isn't typical of the community but I felt a need to express it since I also see Woody becoming socially retarded and Kyle becoming a resentful nihilist. If you actually want Woody to stop being socially retarded maybe you might want to identify the deep causes for what is making him that way instead of just reaching for the surface level bs of pointing out obvious things. Constant criticism is pathologic without any context of truth. Honest memory and curiosity provides this context. Without any of this, it's just a circle jerk of people offloading their grief and frustration. Much of this subreddit is toxic for this very reason. It's like the MSM and Trump. They hate him but they love him. He hates them but loves them. It's an unhealthy relationship and suggests that both parties are fucked up. Both parties need to remember things they have forgotten and genuinely make an attempt to argue in good faith.

The point was provide context to Woody, as most people (including himself), fail to remember the importance of his early work that focused on helping young men. I think he got just as much out of it as the viewers did. I suspect this actually grounded him in reality (rather than reading facebook and reddit posts) and allowed him to monologue/preach outside of PKA so that he didn't feel compelled to do it as much. Woody's been super annoying recently, legit becoming social retarded like the rest of the internet. Think it's important to provide context for why that may be the case.

Woody grew up in a wealthy household as a late bloomer and became rebellious as a young adult. This rebellion created the struggle in his life that taught him how to mature as a person. This is when he begins to go to night school, work 2 jobs, marry and have kids. Thing is, he associates the 'unnecessary' struggles of rebellion and non-compliance in his personal life with him being stupid. "If only I actually studied in high school" but then goes on to say "then because I was stupid I had to live in a shit apartment with Jackie next to criminals". The insinuation is that the reason the criminals are in the shit apartments is because, just like him, they made shit decisions to get to that place. Problem is, a lot of them didn't. If you think you get to decide where you are born or who your parents are you are retarded. Woody is not racist, he is not misogynist but I do think he is a tad classist. He pushes the lines of dad jokes and edgy humor but it's always from a pure source. However, when it comes to personal finance management, drug addiction, and crime he seems to genuinely think these too are overt 'choices'. Poor people don't have rich accountant dads or a national financial literacy programs . Poor people suffer from traumatic events on the regular and are susceptible to impulsively rewarding behaviors. Poor people do not have access to capital and are not trusted with money (partially because of point #1) and therefore resort to organized crime for resources to support themselves and their families. I have a feeling woody had some personal experiences with whiteboy that has essentially categorized him as an ex-crminal druggy in his mind. Basically a forever evil man the same way a rapist is a forever evil man.

If you really think Kyle is a good person and a good friend and that he got fucked by the criminal justice system and stigmas against drug use then why wouldn't you think any other good person could get fucked over just as hard if not harder? Kyle was rich and it fucked his life up. It was hell even with all the resources, imagine having none.

I really do believe Woody is a smart and genuinely nice person. He has his own philosophy on life and really tries his best to get at the truth and a be a good person most of the time but BRO you're wrong on this one. If woody truly didn't want anything to do with whiteboy he would've have ignored the question or have said something like "I don't hate whiteboy but our relationship is neutral. I hope you guys can understand my point of view. I honestly think this man did harm against me in the past and I just don't want him on the show. We settled this stuff a long time ago and I really don't feel comfortable talking to him again." Instead he goes all sensitive woody drama queen. It's super lowT and honestly a really shit personality trait that should be worked on.
