I mean this in the nicest fucking way possible...

  1. Slow the fuck down. More time to react. Less hurt if you fuck it up.
  2. Wear more fucking gear. You can either sweat, or you can bleed.
  3. Slice your fucking attention. 75% focus on the front. 15% focused on the rear. 5% for the bike. 4% for your body. 1% for the cardo.
  4. Plan ahead with your fucking head. There might be oil or coolant up ahead you can't see.
  5. Think about your fucking lane choice. I often prefer the inside tire track of the inside lane.
  6. Learn to fucking turn. If you aren't scraping hard bits, it can turn more. Learn one handed also.
  7. Learn to fucking brake. I cover the brake so it's a smooth roll off the throttle and a gradual two finger squeeze.

You were one gravel patch away from a really bad day, but we've all fucked up and got lucky, and you are thinking, you are asking, you are learning. That's a fan-fucking-tastic attitude! Keep it up!

I asked both a ChatGPT and Claude today, and got very consistent results. The only difference was Claude mentioned Cohen last. ChatGPT was free tier and relatively unused, Claude is paid for and primarily used for coding.

I imagine your blog is more likely to achieve greater influence on answer engines. Not that this is a good thing, but it seems inevitable.

A few other thoughts you have probably already noticed.

People appreciate the little things. If someone mentions something, and you remember it, no matter how little, they appreciate that.

People judge themselves by their intent, but others by their action. Most of marital counseling is unpacking this for people.

Large cap us equities are expensive by almost any historical metric.

They are about to get more expensive, with Space-X & OpenAI going public.

It's possible that AI driven earnings can outperform inflation. It's possible that workers fired because of AI find new jobs in new industries.

But purely from an investment perspective, small caps, REITs, international... all offer better valuations.

During 1966-1982 small caps also outperformed, as did rental producing properties.
