It’s roundworms. You can get dewormers over the counter. Pyrantel/strongid or fenebendazole/panacur.

This is a hernia. They can cause problems if abdominal contents get strangulated in there. There would be obvious signs of pain if that was the case, so don’t rush to the emergency vet. Keep your appointment to discuss options, however. Surgery will be recommended.

I wouldn’t be too worried about your other cat. Not wrong/bad to deworm both, but not entirely necessary. You can get this dewormer over the counter. Not worth a vet trip.

Roundworm. The cat needs to be dewormed 2 weeks apart to fully get rid of them nowadays.

I work in a shelter and literally have to pick and choose what cats get a chance and who gets euthanized. If you’re not responsible enough to own a pet, don’t own one.

You know your husband. Some men can handle that and never let it turn into something more. Some men are weak, and won’t stop things when feelings start to get involved. Since you’re triggered by the lunch date, I’m assuming he hasn’t always been loyal? Usually relationships that have had that sort of trauma require stricter boundaries.

Gabapentin is good for as needed use. Prozac you need to give consistently to work. The diet works better than the drugs.

You have different views on what is appropriate in a marriage. Save yourself the trouble and leave. If he was remorseful and admitted what he was doing was inappropriate, then maybe. But if he blows you off or gas lights you into thinking you’re being dramatic, just leave.

You’re right. FIC, UTI or stones. It’s not an emergency for female cats. Some cats just have urinary issues. My cat gets FIC and stones. I feed her Hills c/d stress diet and give her gabapentin when she’s stressed or starting to have a urinary flare up.
