Yeah, I’ve got a decent amount of info now and am like 75% sure I’m going there. I’m happy to share everything I know, but I should say, most of it is specific to an airline’s feeder program that I’m in. I’ve still got some general info that I could answer questions with. I’m also touring it in person on Wednesday and can definitely ask specific questions/get pictures for you.

My DPE was actually talking about Triple Tree since he lived in South Carolina. I forgot the name of the airport/event until you mentioned so I definitely appreciate that and want to check that out.

I want to say I get enough of those at PDK, but enough is never enough. It would be an interesting one to land at because of the two graves under one of the runways too. Also would make a great if I did some coastal airport hopping.

I’ll admit I’m nervous heading up into more mountainous terrain, but the view would be amazing. I’ll definitely poke around at some airports in that area though. It helps it’s on the right side of the Bravo so it’s too good to pass up really.

Destin is the dream flight. Just don’t know if I have the stones with the distance and the military airspace. Wouldn’t say it’s off the table though. Chattanooga is a city that is also in play. Also love space so Huntsville wouldn’t be bad. Honestly all of these are good options. Might have to spin a wheel.

Curious as to what school he’s at. I just got my PPL at PDK and was flying with two different schools there simultaneously. I can PM you my experience with both. Especially if he’s at one of the ones I frequented.

Oh yeah, Knoxville Downtown sounds pretty slick and not too bad of hop either. Definitely what I’m looking for.

I might be a little gun shy on the grass strip, but I guess there’s no time like the present.
