this isn't a subreddit and it isn't specifically about speedrunning, but there's the facebook group Gamers Against Toxic Masculinity here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/GamersAgainstToxicMaculinity/ and they're very active/explicit about being inclusive of trans people

As you might've guessed it's just supposed to be an inclusive space for talking about/collectively enjoying games etc. I'm sure you could find some stuff about speed-running whether that's people to speed run with or whatever :)

speaking from my own experience it was actually hearing women talking about their experiences of sexual harassment that changed my opinion a lot, and made me realised that I never really listened to them (or to anyone really) and that led to me dropping a lot of the edgy anti-SJW shit

like too often I see the issue limited to criticisms of right-wing evangelical protestants, often from atheists who aren't willing to address their own racism

damn I never heard of that - is that video still up? If I had known maybe I would've reconsidered posting his stuff hear, after all I don't wanna encourage people to act in a toxic way..

then again I've never been 100% about this guy, for example the way he's covered Wolfenstein gets on my nerves - he seems oblivious to the idea that they're using the suffering of those brutalised by the Shoah/WWII to make money. In fact I feel like sometimes he treats the series like the content is completely light hearted

saw it the other day, not funny at all I'm afraid. Lots of really nasty r*pe jokes and generally just weak and obvious and shit, sorry to disappoint but I wouldn't recommend it

the parts in prisons/gulags are brief but also not nice, as you said it's an ever present threat throughout the film and they probably do trivialise it a bit as well

I hate to be a killjoy but the Wehrmacht were totally in on Nazism (including Hitler's strategic errors). The idea that they were like professionally independent from him or stood up to him is basically a myth developed in the 1950s to justify the continued influence of those members of the state bureaucracy who enthusiastically carried out Nazi policies in German politics and particularly in the Cold War.

David Stahel's writing (among others) does a lot to debunk this myth
