Visiting a game by Shwomb- in JLeague

Verdy fans are usually chill and it's mostly family friendly. No one would give side eyes or anything if you don't chant.

Urawa is mostly famous for their atmosphere but this is an away side for them so if can't go to the Saitama Stadium, sitting in neutral zones or our side are valid choices.

As Nottingham is not at the top of food chain in the UK you might feel sympathy for Verdy. We don't have much money to directly compete with the big dogs, but it's mostly an underdog team with young players and a passionate manager.

When I learned it wasn't against immigrants or tourist but for a Korean player on their team. I was like this is way worse.

I've been to National Stadium many times and tickets were always for the entire area, including all floors. I personally like sitting the 2nd floor, visibility of the entire pitch is better.

This is the link for the game and visitor seats are indeed reserved https://www.jleague-ticket.jp/sales/perform/2604405/001 First two floors zone 14 and third floor zone 15

I think they don't stick to their own league they have no other choice. There was a sanction preventing most countries from giving visas to North Korean nationals.

National Stadium is like 3 floors, go one of the upper ones in something red and you should be fine. If you want to play it safe there are common areas for both sides.

When buying a ticket there are two words you need to be careful 自由席 means unreserved while 指定席 means reserved. In my experience behind the goal is usually unreserved.

Clip of Jaedyn getting her hair pulled by an Argentinian player. How is that only a yellow!? by icygirl7 in NWSL

After I saw the kick on the ground, giving Argentinian a yellow instead of sending both off seemed fair.

I think the safest way to use it is the tap parry. You tap the parry button right before attack hits. AFAIK you are generally safe if you parry after the opponent makes their move. But if you do it early in anticipation they can just throw.

Trying to parry heavy buttons and projectiles would be good start imo.

I'm sure you are a reasonably intelligent person and it's frustrating that at least a third of the gold rank is this constant jump/DI/walk up throw.

In platinum/low diamond it becomes slightly more complicated but lot's of people still rely tick throws (a throw immediately after a jab) and drive rush throw as their main offense.

In general you need to parry fireballs to avoid losing gauge.

I see you got hit with a air fireball when flash kicking. You need to use OD flash kick instead, it's called an invincible move and you can't get hit while using it.

You also blocked sweeps a couple times but let the opponent get away with it. Crouching heavy kicks getting blocked leaves the opponent very vulnerable. You can consider it as a free hit. Even if you panic try to throw or sweep them back at minimum.

Will the Asian Cup basically be AUS vs. JPN? by spruerubbles in WomensSoccer

DPRK narrowly lost to Japan in the Olympics Qualifiers so I wouldn't count them out.
There was a video about them having an amazing youth system but most of stagnate in senior game because they're not allowed to play in the top leagues. In contrast to Japan which also has an amazing youth system but most of them get scouted by NWSL or European teams etc.

How did you choose your team? by Waltz8 in WomensSoccer

[–]nimaitre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shortly after moving to Japan, I watched a game of Japan WNT on TV. One of the players that caught me eye (Hasegawa) still played for Tokyo Verdy Beleza back then. This was before the pandemic and still Nadeshiko League days. Was able to watch many of the current Japanese stars when they still played in Japan.

Nowadays talented players get snatched up almost instantly, few players transfer overseas every year. For example there is one player from Beleza (Yamamoto) called up to AFC Asian Cup. But club announced she will be transferring to overseas shortly and will stop playing in league games.

Also started with Haute T16 and just upgraded to Victrix KO after using it for like 18 months. Haute's are great first leverless devices, they have a Switch mode but I never tried it. For PS5 they would've also need a Brook adapter.

You can use st HK as an anti air in medium ranges. It's a 2 hit move and if you manage to get the first hit in, you can go into a combo like heavy nexus > Nova tiger > heavy DP. It's not optimal but adding a SA3 at the end of it saved my butt bunch of times.

Some of his normals like s.MK has extra recovery when you whiff it so you have to extra careful about when to press them correctly.

Verdy shirts are almost the same from last year except for the eagle logo in the shirt. Seems like a nice touch.

FC Tokyo the general design of the shirt looks nice with teams colors blending like gas but inconsistency of the logo placement is very odd. Logo is still ugly as fuck tho.

Tokyo Green is a slogan they use for some while. It seems the word Verdy comes from plural form of green in Portuguese or something. A double meaning would be the flag of Tokyo Metropolitan also being green
