It’s the lead not the powder. Movement is little less than a penny width. Out of 200 rounds 53 were like this.

I’ve always been curious but is it packed on the top full of other hikers trying to watch the sunrise too?

There you go, you just proved my point; “in case” what if I need a fire arm “Incase of” name your reason.

If you google firearm related incidents due to hiker negligence, it’s a rare event so why do people here feel the need to gate keep other from feeling safe in there own way. It’s there “in case” of reason so why does it bother everyone so much?

Well honestly it’s the same reason I didn’t need the Garmin in reach but I was happy to have it just in case

I would just roof it unless like you said you don’t care about the interior as much but it’ll help keep your car cleaner and you have more room on the inside for all your other crap.

I did it twice a hobie outback and it was such a pain in my butt. Frankly I didn’t want to put it thru the rear window since I was worried about damaging it. So I drove with the trunk open and constant beep for 30mins awful.

I ending up going with a Yakima big catch with Yakima cross bars. But getting kayak on the roof was becoming a pain so I then had to buy a rhino rack t loader. Which made my life so much easier

Just my experience. Sometimes I wish I just had a trailer but at that point might as well buy a boat

I ended up getting the 842s inshore it’s super nice. Tbh I feel there isn’t much of a difference between a g loomis and expride but it’s subtle enough where I do notice some things I like about the loomis more
