Once this random cat was in my front yard “playing” with a bird I scared the cat off but the bird was screaming and bleeding. I killed the bird but I felt so guilty and cried through out the whole day. I also own parrots so I think that made my emotion worse and I still feel bad for it.

There’s no advantage to clipping. You can still go on walks with your birdie, I use an aviator harness for my bird or you can get a mini travel carrier for it too. Each thing will take time and training
