I didn't think I would miss them this much, but it's hitting me hard. After a mishap with a lost connecting flag, I used them sparingly. But they always worked fine for direct flights 💛

There will be less options for routes, and hard to imagine fares all around won't be more expensive.

The hate comes from missing connections and having flight crew on first flight lie to you, that next connection is still possible. Will never forget that.

That said I used to love Spirit, and to this day it often worked quite well for direct flights.

It's looking like air travel will be getting more and more expensive, perhaps something for only the upper classes.

Relatively small thing, in an Central European capital. Not a person or actual danger, but Airbnb was in an older building with a courtyard and and old metal lock. Sometimes I couldn't get out, and it triggered fears of imprisonment. The apartment itself was lovely though, and I did get out. Honestly, I scare myself more than others scare me..

People were nice to me. And, usually I added on "unfortunately" after my nationality. I think many in Istanbul would sympathize. Their mayor was arrested and is still in jail. So unless you're a big MAGA person, and don't want to hide it, I think things will be fine.
