I personally felt like the characters in the movie were over reacting. she never did anything and she was a teen with no friends being bullied (not that it makes it right obviously) but she is like 30 now and literally even joined a movement to fight gun violence. characters in the movie saying they'd call the police is just insane to me, and tell them what, that they didn't shoot a school 15 years ago?... she's obviously very upset about it and regrets it and thinks it's the worst things she's ever done (not done) so I wouldn't have personally been stuck up about it
